If I give myself time to heal, will I have enough time to grow?

If I spend my time learning how to forgive and forget, will I have enough time to remember?

If I learn how to treat others, how will I know how to treat myself?

If I learn to say goodbyes, how will I learn to say my hello's?

When life goes south, and angels are seen weeping before God.

When 'no' is changed into a 'yes,' and when lies are the only position left in defense.

When the only emotional release for a child is self-inflicted harm, and the only 'talking' they're exposed to is screaming and pain.

When someone begs for help, and they're threatened with imprisonment.

When the one who originally hurt you, is on your side.

When self-actualization,

Is entrapment in your own mind.
