𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲. I think I drank too much. I felt an arm on my waist, going down to my stomach and pushing me back. "Good morning," Five said. "What happened?" I asked. "What didn't happen," Five replied. I looked to see I was covered with a blanket and the bed sheets. Did we? I turned around and faced him. He had the dorkiest smile with his eyes closed. "How are you feeling?" he asked. "Like I'm dying. I shouldn't have drank so much. But you still wanted to do a competition on who can drink the many shots," I explained. He chuckled and opened his eyes. His hair was so messy, yet I liked it. His hand guided itself back to my waist, pulling me closer to him. "It's still early. And we were up all night," Five told me. I started to remember little fragments of what happened. Shit. Five started to laugh as he saw me remember the details. "I guess we're lucky Allison and Viktor don't share the room with you anymore," he stated. "We sure are," I agreed. "You fucking destroyed my back yesterday," Five declared. "Okay I've heard enough. I'm going back to sleep," I mumbled. I turned around and closed my eyes. I could still feel like hand wrap around me as I slept.I woke up, with Five gone. There was a box and a note on the bed. I sat up and grabbed the note. 'I figured you wouldn't have clothes, so I made the man downstairs make you something. I guess we're matching now. From, Five.' I put the note down and grabbed the box. I opened it and saw a black pleated skirt with a white blouse and a tie. At the bottom there was a black blazer. He really wanted to match or something. I sighed as I got up and put the clothes on, as well as undergarments. Once I was dressed, I made the bed and left the room. I entered the elevator and pressed the main floor. As I got out, I could see some of my siblings sitting down nearby. So, I walked over to them.
Everyone started to cheer for me. I looked at them confused. "You were so inspiring last night," Klaus said. "Yeah, yeah," I agreed, and sat down on one of the couches. Five and Dad came walking towards us. They all started to cheer for him as well. "That speech last night brought me tears," Diego exaggerating. "I especially liked when you referred to us as a family bound by destiny and love," Viktor added. Five looked at me and smirked, as he saw that I was present, knew what happened last night, and that I had put the clothes on. "It was the booze talking," Five replied. He walked over to me and sat down beside me. "In the light of day you're all still deplorable," Five added. "And your day's about to get worse. The Norse had eight sleepers. The Blackfoot, eight stars. As a boy, I heard the legend of the eight bells. All these stories are the same. The village is under threat by flood, by fire, by a night that ever ends. A shaman brings his disciples to a sacred cave. He tells them if they can ring the eight magic bells, the village will be saved, and all will be restored just as it was," Dad explained. "Reggie," Lila spoke. Dad looked at her. "Can we get a Little less Brothers Grimm and a little more 'what the hell does this have to do with us?'" Lila asked. "There is a truth to these myths. None of you can deny what's going on around us. All of existence will be gone by the end of the day, but whoever or whatever wove together space and time, they left a way to put things back together if the universe ever faced total annihilation. There is a portal in the universe. I built this hotel around it, and on the other side is the answer," Dad explained. "And—we're supposed to, what? Just stroll in there, ring some bells, and fix this shit?" Luther asked. "Sarcasm aside, you are mostly right. Except for the guardian," Dad informed. "What kind of guardian?" I asked. "Kinda guardian that does this," Diego showed his missing fingers. "He had a sword," Diego added. "It is a force to be reckoned with," Dad stated. "See? Yeah. This is where you lose me," Luther said. "This is where he loses you? I checked out at that sacred cave," Lila explained. "Why would the builder of this 'back door' need to have a guardian?" Viktor asked. "Ah! To protect it from people who want to use it for nefarious means," Sloane answered. "That is correct Sloane," Dad agreed. "So it's gonna take all of us to defeat the thing protecting the bells?" Allison caught up. "You're actually buying his crap?" Five asked. "How is a guardian and bells any crazier than time-traveling briefcases and assassins with cartoon masks?" Allison asked. "Actually she's got you there," Luther agreed. Five looked at me, as we both remembered that Dad was speaking to someone in the buffalo suite last night, before we passed out. Ben stood up and sided by Dad. "I'm in," Ben agreed. Diego stood up. "Me too," he agreed. "But I think some of us should stay back. Like Lila," Diego added. "Uh—or you can stay and I can go," Lila suggested. "No. This is much bigger than all of us. Nobody can stay back," Allison disagreed. "You, my children, are all that stand between us and oblivion. Are we ready to go?" Dad asked. "I say we vote," Viktor suggested. "This isn't a democracy. Dad's calling the shots," Ben told him. "And you're clearly a Daddy's boy who is sad he got to spend time with Klaus and not you," I corrected. I can hear Diego snickering. "I'm with Viktor. We vote," Five agreed. "The world is ending, and you want to count hands?" Dad asked. "You're asking us to risk our lives. I think it's only fair you give us time to discuss it. Privately," Luther said. Dad scoffed and left. "Why don't we meet back here in an hour?" Luther suggested. "Agreed," Five replied. "Yeah sure," Diego agreed. "Whatever," Lila responded.
