'In the universe of light and dark, where perception is reality...'
In a far past, about 500 years ago. Two women, Umbra witches, were battling with their guns, not only in their hands, but their heels as well. Fighting off angels who dare try to strike them down.
"The legend of Aesir... A legend from the dawn of time. Nobody knows where the world came from. a struggle caused the Trinity of realities to be split into three realms:
Light, Darkness, And chaos. Obviously, Our world was the one born from chaos."
While the witches were busy shooting down and slaying the angels, one of their own killed the other, fighting by the witches side.
They were confused, but they now see a Glamor flying with a teenage girl, about 19 years old, on it's back, coming flying above, attacking the other angels that are shooting lasers of light at the city, Vigrid, in the middle of a war of Lumen sages and Umbra witches. She looked down and winked at the two witches. on her way to battle more.
She has black yet completely blonde long hair that touches her lower back, eyes as blue as a lapis lazuli. and wields rose petal arm gauntlets with rose thorn whips, Alruna, and cobra whips, Kulshedra, attached to her boot heels.

"The three worlds all needed rulers. Most of all, ours. And the one that ruled the chaos is Aesir."
The confusion of battle split up the two witches, Rosa, and Bayonetta. Bayonetta had to continue onward and got on Umbran armor, activating the mech, and continues to fight.
"Aesir spent the first eternity quietly looking upon the Earth from his holy mountain. Where we only see reality and make it match our rules of the world, Aesir saw through reality, And those visions became our world. These observations became Aesir's power. Aesir's eyes were truly the eyes that created the world."
"However, Aesir pitied the humans for their naivety and lack of free will, so the power he wielded was split into equal halves and entrusted each to humanity's instincts:
The Right Eye of Light, and the Left Eye of Darkness."
A Valiance sliced the Insidious, Bayonetta was on, battling angels, in half. She lost the armor and is now battling the Valiance angel, though headless, it's face is on it's sword.
"By dividing the power of the eyes of Aesir, Humans gained free will... They could now choose. With control of the eyes of the world, the eyes that determine destiny, Humans could choose their own paths. They awoke to their own identities."
"Man is but a reed, the most feeble thing in nature, But now we were thinking reeds, And we took our first big step towards grand prosperity. The inheritors of the eyes of Aesir had been given the power of creation."
An Insidious appeared and aiming it's attack, The dawn sorceress sees it and orders the Glamor to rush.
"Bayonetta!" She called, extending her hand for her to take quickly, The attack nearly hit, but missed the witches, But the blast's shock wave pushed the Glamor and witches away, The girls landed safely, now face to face with a masked man, A Lumen sage.
He tossed a white glowing peacock feather in the sky, summoning a Fortitudo. "Netta." the young teen mumbles, feeling uneasy about him.
"I know, Lucinda. Just stay close." Bayonetta assures her giving a nod in response, then smirks to the sage, "A Lumen sage...? Cheeky. No one bothered telling us any of your kind survived."
The Lumen sage stays silent, yet he summons his double bladed glaive, and use his powers to attack the girls. But every swing and strike misses, They shoot, but he fades like an illusion, then they keeping battling, until Bayonetta's kick and Lucinda's strike with her Alruna's rose thorn whips along with the sage's glaive collided, the impact's shock wave pushed them away, Yet it damaged a bit of the sage's mask.
"Well, At least you're the silent type. The last sage we met spent 20 minutes rambling on and on!" Bayonetta exclaims, Thinking back, Till the sage looks at the girls again, revealing his right eye, now glowing blue.
Lucinda gasped in disbelief and shock, taking one step back, covering her mouth, recognizing that glow and power. While Bayonetta looks at it in disbelief as well, "What!?" She questions herself. Then everything flashes white, like some sort of vision ended.

Then at the present, a stone head of Jubileus was laying dead on the ground, looking like it was a meteor that slid down and stopped.
Balder crawled, weak, and dying, till some mysterious mist of blue glowed, and some sort of invisible yet visible form of a person was clawing at the air, trying to get out of Balder's body, but it can't.
"You will not escape this fate! Nor touch little Vita ever again!" He brought out his monocle, "We will perish together!" And he puts it on, using what's left of his power to suck the being back in.
then he collapsed, saying his dying words, "My dear, Sweet children... At last, you have fulfilled your promise to me... My little Vita, Your parents.... And... Rosa, would be proud of you... Fear not, For I am always watching over you... and... Cereza..." Then till his last breath, His body faded into specks of light. Along with his monocle.
"But the Right Eye of Light was lost from the world forever, along with it's possessor, The second last of the Lumen sages."
