Third Person's P.O.V:
Now that no one and nothing is in their way, they are finally able to go to Fimbulventr.
However, Lucinda felt a little uneasy that it was a little bit too easy though. Why is it so quiet? She would have expected for angels to stop them as they were coming very close to reaching the mountain.
Sure, those Urbanes have showed up and Pain before them, but she would think there would be more then only those three and many others before. 'This doesn't feel right... Knowing angels practically my whole life, they wouldn't allow anyone to disturb their place, or any place that's closely connected to it...' she thought.
Then she had another thought as she looked at Loki, feeling her heart beat a little faster every time she's near him. But soon realize that once they might reach it, She and Loki would have to go their separate ways. "Lolo? When this is all over, Will we ever see each other again?" She asked, sounding a bit sad if they don't.
"Who's to say, Love? But don't worry, I'm definitely sure we'll reunite someday. So don't feel sad, Love. Okay?" The young boy says to cheer her up with a smile, positive himself that they'll reunite one day.
"Though, I don't think that 'Luka' guy isn't a fan of boys getting laid or something more of a cheesy romance around you." He added, Earning a chuckle from the sorceress.
"True. But, He's got nothing to worry about since we're the ones who're protecting him and the humans from danger. And I'm mostly grown up enough to find the one I love, And there's no way he can stop me from that. Nor let guys I don't like touch me." She smirked, earning now a chuckle from the boy.
"True, And I gotta say, you're quite the fighter. Especially when you saved my ass from getting skewered by that masked guy in robes. What's his deal anyway?" He questions, earning a shrug from the sorceress, even though she's also half of the Lumen Sages, She doesn't know the stranger who tried to kill her partner.
"Who gives a shit right now of what that Lumen Sage wanted? He and those angels are wasting time as is. Let's go." Bayonetta spoke up, earning their attention and nod, so they hurry to Fimbulventr.
And they now walk to the bridge, but after just walking for a few seconds, It was destroyed, slashed to pieces and collapsing. Till the cause of it's destruction revealed itself as a Valor as it says "Sovereign One, you shall not be allowed to reach Fimbulventr!"
"Oh, I knew another one would show up!!" Lucinda growled to herself in frustration.
"Little one!" Bayonetta said as they all went flying and fell into the Cathedral again. They summoned their wings to fight the pursuing angel, while Lucinda quickly had Loki stay close to her and hide within her hair as a flying squirrel again.
"New model huh? I hope this one lasts a bit longer." Bayonetta said, as she and Lucinda are about to fight the knightly angel.
"Hmph... Umbra Witch and Dawn Sorceress! Do not think that you humans will be able to control the powers of Darkness and Light forever!" Valor said to them.
"Saying that's just gonna want us to take my darling Sovereign one there even more." Lucinda pointed out, teasing the angel as she chuckles to herself.
"After we have taken care of our business, of course." Bayonetta added.
They had to be careful with what they are doing, as Valor constantly went through the walls outside and slash his sword in them so that it would hit them.
Then Valor threw his shield at them, but they have to avoid that at all costs. Spikes were on them, and there is a big chance that they would be dead if that shield managed to hit them. The managed to avoid it, but then it came back. It was like a boomerang.
"Gods, That was close!" Lucinda sighed in quick relief as they dodged it again.
They all then fell into the water. Time to use their beast forms to end this battle quicker.
As the angel was nearly finished, the girls summoned Hydra, The Spinner of Destinies, As her snakes coiled around the angel tight, squeezing his limbs to squeeze what's left of his strength out and rib him apart for Inferno to take.
"You okay, Nicky?" Lucinda quietly asks her partner as the said Sovereign one comes out and nods his head, assuring the magical girl he's completely fine.
"I don't think you'll be able to get a new one of those." Bayonetta said, Referring to the angel's body limbs and his sword and shield that both have a face, yet is now revealed as hideous ones along it's exposed body from all the beatings it's gotten from the girls' attacks.
"Yep, Once you get caught by our dear friend, Hydra, and her snakes," Lucinda nodded while one of the said demon's snakes went over to the Dawn Sorceress, and let's her pet it, liking her attention, "There's no escaping their slithery clutches." She added with a smile.
"Seriously, Though. It's like every demon & angel, that you and Bayonetta summon- well, She only summons demons.- Are like your best friends or something! How on Earth do you do it, Love?" Loki asks, still innerly shocked about the fact that the girls' summons are friendly to the Dawn Sorceress.
"What can I say? It's been a gift of mine since birth. And I'll practically never get tired of it." She lightly shrugged with a smiled as she and Bayonetta chuckle, then the snake Lucinda was petting returned to it's pals to squeeze the life out of Valor.
The angel could only laugh. "My demise will not alter fate. A tribute to you, Witch! And to you, Dawn Rebel!" Valor said as with the remaining strength he had, he took his sword and made a hole at the bottom, while he was now in shreds.
"Aw Crap!" Lucinda lightly cursed till they all got sucked in with the water like a drain.
Valor laughed like a maniac, and was then being dragged to Inferno.
"I'm really starting to hate angel rebels!!" Lucinda shouted in anger of the blasted rebelling angels that kept getting in their way every time.
