Two Years ago

"Get down." Commander Hong whispered.

Cyrus and Ken lowered down followed by Hoseok. They made it out of the tunnel and back onto the top, but it was surrounded with other soldiers.

"How are we going to get past them?" Hoseok whispered.

"Maybe a distraction?" Cyrus suggested.

"Leave me." Ken said.

"No man left behind." Commander said.

"Commander, I'm bleeding out at least let me die with some dignity." Ken said.

Commander Hong shook his head, Cyrus and Hoseok looked at one another.

"Commander...He's right, he isn't going to make it." Hoseok said.

Commander Hong sighed as he looked at Ken.

"I'm only going to slow you guys down...let me go commander." Ken said.

Commander nodded as he placed him on the ground. Ken silently coughed up blood, Cyrus sighed and looked away.

"I guess this it huh, you're one hell of a soldier." Commander Hong said.

Ken chuckled.

"I've learned from the best." He mumbled.

Commander Hong shook Ken's hand and moved to the side to let Cyrus say goodbye.

"You're doing a brave thing Ken." Cyrus mumbled.

Ken chuckled.

"Yeah, I would only be a risk and slow you guys down." Ken said.

Cyrus eyes began to water as he patted Ken on chest.

"See you later." Cyrus smiled.

Ken nodded as Cyrus walked away leaving just Hoseok. Hoseok knelled to Ken's level and looked at him.

"Jung Hoseok, the quiet and ruthless one." Ken chuckled.

Hoseok also chuckled.

"I'm sorry this has happened to you." Hoseok said.

"Yeah, you know...we've known one another for years...my mother, please tell her I died with honor." He said.

Hoseok looked at him as he took his dog tags off and placed them in his hand.

"Ken-"

"Give them to her...and tell her what I said." Ken said.

Hoseok felt his heart tighten as he nodded. His eyes began to water as he squeezed the dog tags in his hand.

Jung Hoseok

Hoseok woke up abruptly with his gun in his hand. He looked at the window and sighed realizing it was morning. He rubbed his hands over his face before standing up. He checked his phone and seen it was 7 a.m.
