Two Years ago

Hoseok let out a frustrating scream as he tried his hardest to break out the restraints. He wanted to stop whatever Commander Hong was doing. He took an oath and for a Commander to break it to save his own ass made him upset.

He heard the door open and seen the Commander get thrown to the ground by the soldier.

"Now that I have the information I needed there's no use for you." He said.

Hoseok closed his eyes waiting for his death to come. He heard a gunshot and opened his eyes to see a lifeless Commander Hong.

"Can never trust a man who would give away his countries secrets, now as for you. I like you...you're a good soldier, but I know you will never join me so it's time to say goodbye." He said holding a gun to his head.

Before he could pull the trigger an explosion went off. Hoseok fell back as his restraints finally broke off. He watched as the man regained his consciousness and tackled him. He snapped his neck and grabbed his gun.

Hoseok looked at the Commanders lifeless body and spat on it.

"Piece of shit." He mumbled.

He groaned as he made his way out of the room. He heard Russian soldiers coming and decided to hide behind a wall as they passed by.

He heard a lot of shooting going on and shot who ever was in his way. He was low on ammo and had a few rounds left. He slid down the wall in defeat as he sighed, tears began to form in his eyes.

He felt defeated, he had nothing to go back to anyway. He heard footsteps coming his way and held up his gun.

"PUT YOUR GUN DOWN!"

"YOU PUT YOURS DOWN!" Hoseok yelled.

The man looked at Hoseok noticing he had a Korea uniform on and lowered his weapons.

"Lower your weapons." He said.

Hoseok still had his gun fixed on the man.

"Where's your unit?" He asked.

"Dead." Hoseok said.

"We're from America, we're allies. Let's get you out of here." He said.

Hoseok slowly lowered his weapon as two man helped him up. Once he was carried outside he seen a lot of helicopters and Korean Soldiers along with American. He felt a wave of relief in his chest as he boarded the chopper.

"Mind telling me what the fuck happened to your unit?"

Hoseok looked at the man and took a deep breath explaining what happened. Once the man finished the report they headed to a safe base.

Hoseok finished the rest of his tour and once he was back on his territory he was discharged. He thought life after the Military would be amazing. Not having anyone waiting for him seemed to bother him more than he thought.

He manage to make an associate Jungkook but Jungkook had his own things to handle. With no one to communicate with he turned to drinking. Drinking was the only thing that kept the dreams away, seeing dead bodies and experiencing torture changed him in ways he couldn't even imagine.
