3rd Person POV
canyon was with the others the next morning at the chateau, no Sarah in sight but she sat with jj, pope and kiara as they sat there and they talked to each other.
canyon held popes hand as they smiled at each other and sighed. even though john b wasn't there, they were happy with each other. soon after pope said something to jj about his wax, there was the sound of a car honking and they all turned to see the twinkie
"you're fucking lying" canyon said as they all stood up and walked to him
"guess whos out of the clink boy" john b said as he parked the twinkie and hoped out. they all ran to him and hugged him
"howd you do it? you bust out?" jj asked
"uh they dropped the charges" he told them
"now that's some crazy shit right there" canyon stated and he nodded in agreement before jj spoke up
"so I did all of that for nothing?" he said and canyon turned her head to him
"all of that? j I need you to be serious" canyon exclaimed and he nudged her as she nudged him back and then john b spoke up
"wait guys wheres sarah?" john b asked and canyon sighed
"she went to go meet wheezie last night but she didn't come back" canyon stated and john b sighed. they walked down to the dock and sat there talking to each other but canyon and pope stayed back
"so last night" canyon began and pope nodded with a sigh
"it shouldn't have happened,I know Im sorry. we can still be friends and act like it didn't happen" he said so fast and she stared at the boy in shock. that's not what she wanted, was that what he wanted?
"is that what you want?" she asked and he looked at her quickly. he didn't know whether to be honest or lie to the girl. this was too hard for him.
"if that's what you want" he stated and she shook her head
"that's not what i want pope, what happened was supposed to happen, it wasn't a mistake. i wanted it to happen" she told him and he smiled. he didn't feel dejected or hurt, the smile on his face was so clear that she knew everything he was thinking.
