3rd person pov
Canyon turned to pope and cleo. she smiled at them as they smiled back. they docked the boat and got off of it
"you're crazy pope, your parents are not going to appreciate me shacking up" cleo said and they all laughed.
"no of course they will. are you kidding? heyward might put you to work but we could always use the help"pope said and canyon laughed
"I don't know man. are you sure?" she asked
"yeah, look he might squawk a little bit but let me talk to him. we'll figure it out " pope exclaimed
"this is us, home sweet home" kiara said as she opened the gate and they all walked in
"damn kiara, you live here? this is like the white house man" cleo said and she laughed as she shook her head
"you're going to be okay?" he asked kiara who made eye contact and sighed.
"yeah I'm gonna be okay" she said and they all smiled. they soon left and canyon went home . when she got to the door , she opened it and molly shot up from the couch with jackson
"mom, dad" she said and they ran over as they hugged the girl and she hugged them back with a smile.
"I'm so sorry, I should've told you where I was going" she exclaimed and they both shook their head as they looked over her and sighed
"we're just happy you're safe" molly told her daughter and canyon smiled at them as they smiled too
"hows stardust, blue?" she asked and they laughed
"you missed them didn't you?" jackson said and she nodded
"of course I do, they're apart of me" she exclaimed and they both laughed and nodded as they turned to the door. canyon looked out and saw the two animals cuddling in the field and she laughed and shook her head
"I'm going to take a shower, try to clean off all of this" she stated and they both nodded as they let the girl walk upstairs. when she got to her room. she opened the door, her room was clean, it was organized and it was like she had never left. they knew that the girl was going to come back. she grabbed clothes and went into the shower as she washed herself off.
she hated the idea of being dirty and now the girl was able to clean herself.soon she heard her phone go off and she opened it as she saw a text from sarah.
"meet at the dock" she read and she replied before she got dressed; she walked downstairs and looked at her parents
"sarah wants to meet at the dock, I promise ill be back. i swear" she told them and they both nodded. they still trusted her
"rafes back" sarah exclaimed
"what?" canyon said , she stared in shock. she didn't want rafe to be back. she wanted him gone forever. she wanted the man to die or fall off a cliff and she wished that he would. she wished that he would be gone forever
"so I went back to get clothes and a phone and rafe is back" sarah said and via made eye contact with her sister
"oh that's fun" canyon said and kiara nodded
"yeah, I saw him at the house. i don't think he saw me but I think the cross is coming back to Wilmington , tomorrow night" sarah stated
"what?" kiara said
"yeah"
"does pope know?"
"no, I was going to tell him at the chateau"
"well he cant, he's on lockdown" kiara said
"okay, then ill hit up pope and then maybe you go to the chateau and tell john b. " sarah said
"yeah alright" canyon said and they went to the chateau. canyon looked around for john b , she couldn't find him anywhere and it scared her. she didn't want him to fall off the cliff again and she knew that he would if anything happened
"canyon" she heard and she turned to see jj
"john b not here?" he asked and she nodded
"kie just went to find him but we have to talk" she told the boy
"whats up cowgirl?" he asked her
"rafe is back, sarah went back home and he was there but she also overheard him saying that the cross is coming over to Wilmington tomorrow night" canyon told him
"he must be trying to sell it" jj stated
"obviously and look sarah went to tell pope and whatever he decides, we follow. its his cross and family line, john b and big john went and got the twinkie. pope is on lockdown" canyon told him and jj nodded
"wait cow girl , we know where the cross is gonna be. that means its still on the field, okay alright. so we can come in and swoop. alright we're still in this , we just gotta get everybody together and then we'll come up with a plan" jj said and she nodded
"whatever you say maybank" she exclaimed and he smiled at her as she smiled back. the pair of friends were finally on the same side again.
they just didn't know what the future would hold
