After sometime, everyone got used to MX and Squidward and started to get along with them.

Today was also a special day as it was the anniversary of Y/n and Sally's wedding and at the castle, a party was going on to celebrate.

Everyone was there from friends to family.

Y/n: Can you believe it? It seems only yesterday we got married and now look at us. Two lovely children, a peaceful life and great friends.

Sally: Yes. I'm glad to have these moments with you Y/n.

"Hey you two."

Y/n and Sally turned to lord x.

Lord X: Where's sonic at? I know he likes to do his own thing but he wouldn't miss this would he?

Y/n: No I just got a message from him. He'll be here soon.

Lord X: Good. Maybe he'll find someone here he can get together with.

The two chuckle at this.

Y/n: Yeah. He really needs to find someone to love.

Lord X: Yeah. Oh, that reminds me. Tails wanted to see you for something special.

Sally: What is it?

Lord X: don't know. He said it was important.

Y/n: Well in that case let's go.

The two go to see tails to see special surprise he had for them.

-Meanwhile-

The freedom fighters along with MX and Squidward were enjoying the party.

They then hear doors open and look to see sonic but MX and Squidward get an uneasy feeling about him for some reason.

Rotor: Hey sonic! Glad you could make it to the party.

Sonic?: What party?

This makes everyone confused and MX and Squidward more suspicious.

Bunnie: uh. For Y/n and Sally's marriage?

Rotor: Yeah. You got the invitation remember?

Sonic(?): Oh now I remember. Yeah the party, there's no way I would miss this for the world. Sorry must've forgotten about the invitation.

Rotor: Okay, then. Either way, glad your here.

Sonic(?): Yeah. Glad to be here.

MX and Squidward share a look saying "I don't think that's sonic".

MX: You know. Your actually kind of early then you said you would.

Sonic(?) then lose composure for a second but then regain it.

Sonic(?): Yeah. I just couldn't wait to be here.

Squidward: Yet you said you forgot about the invitation so therefore you wouldn't have been here so soon. Explain that please?

Sonic(?): I admit I did forget about the invitation but I heard there was something going on at the castle so I got here as soon as I could.

MX and Squidward give him a "Are you seriously making excuses" look.

Sonic(?): Look either way, let's enjoy the party and wait for the man and women of the hour.

Sonic(?) then goes to join the party with everyone having a confused look or in MX and Squidward's case, a look of suspicion.

-Back to Y/n, Sally and lord x-

With the others, they saw tails and walked up to but also saw a fox girl with him.
