When I woke up Kat wasn't on my wing. I guess she rolled off in her sleep. My right wing was feeling better but not good enough to fly. I was hungry so I got up jumped off the tree and ran into the forest. I honestly don't know what I could find to eat out here. I mean maybe I can find something small to eat. Probably some fish. Yep it's decided I'm going to look for some fish.

I was running for about an hour before I actually heard running water. I ran few more feet and I found myself on the banks of a small river. I'm guessing that a creek or something of the sort was farther up the river but I didn't really care. I stayed there for about 10 minutes before I heard a splash in the water. I looked down the river where I heard the splash come from and I saw, praise the lord, some salmon. I'm glad I did cause I was starving. I went over to the area where the salmon where and when ever one jumped out of the water I smacked it with my tail sending it flying out of the water and smashing it right into a tree or just onto the ground. About two minutes later I had about five salmon. "I think that's good enough for me and Kat." I thought to myself. I picked the salmon up from the river banks and started walking back the tree.

When I got out of the forest and into the clearing where the tree was, I saw that Kat was still asleep. I ran the rest of the way to the tree and jumped onto the platform causing it to shake slightly. I saw that Kat also had a fluffy gray kitten on her chest. Was that thing there before? What ever I'll just wake her up and ask her once she's had some food. I decided it'd be ironic for me to poke her with my tail since she pokes me with a stick. So I did just that. "Kaaaat," I poked her with my tail, "Wake up," I poked her again, "God dammit Kat. WAKE UP!!" I shouted at her. She jumped up and dropped the gray kitten onto the platform. "I've got food." I said in a somewhat cheery tone holding up the salmon. She just did what sounded a lot like a cat hiss and she walked over and tried to grab the salmon out of my hands but I just lifted the salmon up out of her reach. "Would you like it cooked?" I asked. Why would she eat raw fish? When I was human I ate raw fish and I hated it. "Fine. But how are you gonna cook it?" She said like a smart ass. I just looked at the fish and I blew fire on the fish. She just looked at the salmon in awe and then she snatched two of them and ran back to her resting place with the gray kitten so they could eat their salmon. After we are our salmon Kat got up, holding the gray kitten, walked over to me, and just sat down in front of me. "This," She said holding the cat in my face, "is Steven the Fluffy. I found him in the creek nearby." I just stared at the cat. And it stared right back at me. "Cool. Also I have a question for you." She looked slightly surprised for some reason. "What could you have question about?" She said puzzled. I was mentally face palming myself. She didn't actually think I wouldn't wonder why she keeps a beanie on her head at all times. "Why do you ALWAYS wear that beanie? You've gotta take it off sometime, right?" She seemed to be getting nervous. "Be....because I like to wear it And because it's nice." She said confidently. "Oh really then why does your beanie move by itself if you get surprised or when you're happy?" I questioned. I have to say that was weird how it did that. "No it doesn't!" She apparently took some offense. "Oh really?" I slammed my tail on the platform causing her to not only be surprised, but her beanie also moved up. "Your beanie moved." She just shook her head. "Ok you leave me no choice.", I said with a smug grin. She looked confused and slightly scared. I got up and walked past her, which seemed to calm her down, but I moved my tail so that while I walked past her it hit the beanie and caused it to fall off. I turned quickly to look at her and she moved in hurry to face me and get her beanie. When I saw what was hiding underneath the beanie, I just said quietly, shocked, "How?"
