A few minutes before the timer hit zero, the crowd noticed the woman who had been healed earlier nervously approach the God of Love. Her gaze briefly traveled across the group of children around him. She could see that they were very curious about her. Especially since their guardian had requested one of the older deities to heal her for him. Once their eyes met, the 18 years old lowered his fork full of fruit salad and asked.

"Is there something I can help you with Emeline?"

Like she thought. He knew her name. Chances were high that he also knew about her identity too. However, that didn't explain the exact reason he chose to help her. There was nothing a God would gain from helping a cripple. So, why? Without answering his question, she bowed down on the ground directly at his feet and set her blade down on the ground in front of her.

"I, Emeline Abarca, swear my undying love to you, the God of Love."

A quiet gasp of surprise came from the mage seated next to the Mercenary King. To think there was actually a survivor from the Abarca Household. He had already known about the Molan duo and those who had betrayed the five families. Just not her. Where in the world had she been hiding all these years? Did Arm know she was alive? Intrigue mixed with a hint of amazement radiated out of him. Was the God of Love consciously gathering the remnants of the former rulers of the Eastern Continent's underworld? If so, should he join them and get revenge for his deceased relatives who had been mercilessly slaughtered when he was a child?

"Should you choose to accept me, I as well as my descendants will serve you with our lives and abilities until the day we die. All who come after me shall take my place as your family's sword and shield. We will obey your sacred directives and commands until our final breath."

After a short pause, the female swordsman calmly added with a firm resolve.

"Even after my death, this lowly mortal hopes that my soul will continue to be of use to you."

<Do you think she knows the weight of her words?>

"Probably."- Sun God

"She did say after death. Meaning she plans to continue to serve you with each of her soul's reincarnations."- God of Communication

"Rus won't be too happy since that means more work for him."- God of Purification

"Oh well~ Dongsaeng deserves loyal followers and servants too."- God of Youth

"Let's just leave Rus to Salm to deal with~"- Moon God

<No problem there.>

"Agreed!"- God of Judgment

"Poor annoying bastard."- God of Peace

"Are you going to accept her vow, Amias?"- God of Time

"That human is close to becoming a swordmaster. If you don't want her, I'll take-"- God of War

<Touch her and you'll wish you were f***ing dead, Dene.>

Silence filled his mind as the youth turned his attention back to the awaiting woman kneeling at his feet. Everyone present was watching them in anticipation of his answer. No expression was on his face as the youngest of the deities replied.

"I, the God of Love, accept Emeline Abarca's oath."

Instantly, multicolored light completely enveloped her body prior to gathering above three specific places. One was right over her heart. Another was over her once blind eye. Lastly, was the hand which had been restored. With a brief surge of energy, the radiance flowed into her and three unique shimmery crests formed on her flesh. Evergreen irises quaked slightly as they examined each symbol of her eternal vow.
