Plagg sniffed the ground, still searching for Chat Noir
He spotted the wanted poster of him & then covered the nose part, remembering his face
He shredded it with his teeth
Just then, he heard a twig snap & he blended in with the leaves
He appeared out of the bushes & neighed loudly at Gothel, startling her
He looked at her & snorted in disappointment
"A palace horse. Wait. Where's your rider? Marinette. Marinette!" She said, running off
She went towards the tower
"Marinette! Let down your hair!" She called
"Marinette?" She asked
She went into the back of the tower, pulling apart the rocks
She opened up the hatch door, looking inside
"Marinette? Marinette!" She exclaimed
Gothel ripped apart the curtains, finding no sign of her daughter anywhere
Just then, she saw a glimmering light & lifted the stairboard up, finding Chat Noir's satchel
She looked at the tiara, but gasped & dropped it
She kept looking inside, finding the wanted poster of him
She opened up the drawer, taking out a sharp knife
Marinette & Chat Noir arrived at the Snuggly Duckling
"What's this place?" She asked
"It's called The Snuggly Duckling. Very good place" He answered
"Well, it looks nice. And I do happen to like ducklings" She said
"That's a good thing!" He replied
He grabbed her hand & opened up the door
"Garson! Your finest table, please!" He suggested
But to her surprise, Marinette saw many thugs glaring at her
"You smell that? Take it all in. Really just seep it in. What are you getting? First, it's bad-man smell and then it's really bad man smell. Overall, it smells like the color brown. What are your thoughts" He said
She gasped & pulled away, grabbing her strands
"That's a lot of hair" He sighed
"Yeah, it is. But it looks nice. Is that blood in your mustache! Hey! Check out all of this blood in his mustache!" He exclaimed
Marinette accidentally hit the thug & he growled at her
"Hmm. Are you alright?" He asked, walking towards her
"Heh, heh. Yep! I'm fine!" She answered
Her legs started shaking & she felt scared
"Come on. We should get you back home. This is only a five star joint after all. If you can't handle this place, I'll take you back to your tower" He decided
