But to his surprise, he saw her tied up in chains with a handkerchief around her mouth
Gothel stabbed him in the chest, making him fall to the ground
Marinette's screams were muffled & Chat held his chest, groaning in pain
"Now look what's happened, Marinette. But don't worry. Our little secret will die with him. And as for us, we will be going where no one will ever find you again" She said, grabbing ahold of the chains
Tikki came out of her hiding spot & grabbed Gothel's dress
She looked down & kicked her to the wall
"Marinette, that's enough! Quit fighting me!" She exclaimed
"No! I won't stop! For the every last minute of my life, I will fight! And I will never stop trying to get away from you! But if you let me save him, then I'll go with you" She decided
"No.. Marinette... no.." He groaned, looking at her
"I won't run. I won't try to escape. Just let me save him. Then you and I will be together, forever. Just like you want. Everything will be the way it was. Just the way you want it to be. I promise. Please. Just let me heal him" She said
Gothel stayed quiet, giving her an angry look
She tied his arms in chains, putting them around the wall
"If you get any ideas about following us, then you won't be able to escape" She said, walking off
"Oh! Adrien!" She cried, running towards him
He groaned in pain & Marinette noticed the blood coming out
"I'm so sorry. Everything will be okay. I promise" She assured
"No... Marinette.." He groaned
"You have to trust me. Please. Just breathe for me..." She said, grabbing his hand
"But... I... I can't let you do this..." He replied
"And I can't let you die..." She added
"But if you do this, then... you will die.." He responded, breathing shallowly
"No, I'll be fine. Everything will be okay. I promise" She reassured
"Marinette... Wait..." He whimpered weakly
He placed his hand on her cheek but then cut her hair with a mirror shard
"What... Adrien...?" She gasped
"No!" She said
Her hair immediately started turning black
She tried to pick up the hair, but saw herself aging rapidly
"What have you done...? What have you done?!" She shouted angrily
She looked at herself in the broken mirror
"No! No! No!" She sobbed
She pulled her hood over her head
Tikki grabbed the hair & made Gothel trip, making her fall out of the tower
