Noelle's Final Order

"I found you, Aether. Thank goodness that you are alright.... Do not worry, I shall fight alongside you against the Balladeer."

"You lot can not even beat me in a dream, how would you suffice in the real world!?" The Balladeer asked.

"You underestimate our power, Balladeer, just like--"

"Don't you dare--" Noelle's sentence was cut off by the Balladeer's voice.

"Just like you did in the dream." Noelle finishes, and the Balladeer calms down.

"Oh, I guess that is fine--"

"...Just like Signora." Aether bluffed.

Immediately, Shouki no Kami destroys the platform where the group is standing on out of rage, due to him being compared to a harbinger in a weaker position than him. The entire group then drops down to the floor below where Shouki no Kami connects it's two body parts together.

"Alright, we know what to do, right!?" Aether asks, as he imbues his sword with electro. He then dashed towards Shouki no Kami's chest and plunged the blade onto it, but he didn't retrieve it. Due to Shouki no Kami's heavy resistance to electro, it barely did any damage.

"Right! Kamisato Ryuu: Shirasagi no Ikari!"

Ayaka's wings fluttered close and shot out rays of cryo that forms a small ball of ice, which is then absorbed into the Mistsplitter Tachi's electro sigil shaped hilt. Afterwards, Ayaka made a graceful I-shaped slash which opens up a rift in time and space that shoots out a huge ray of cryo.

The bulk of Shouki no Kami's body causes the ray to hit it straight in where Aether's sword is plunged into, severely cooling it's machinery enough for Nilou, who has been gathering hydro saved in her vision to unleash multiple hydro slash projectiles, so huge in size that when it came into contact with the cryo ray, it freezes mid-flight, and it's sharp curves manages to make a dent in the chest of Shouki no Kami.

"I can't move!"

"Now, Noelle!" Aether signalled.

"Understood, Aether." Noelle said as she catches The Unforged which flies out of an adeptus portal.

Noelle then spins The Unforged in a circular motion, a golden light follows it making the shape of a full moon before she raised the claymore upwards, which absorbs the light. Afterwards, like Ayaka, she made an I-shaped slash which opens an adeptus rift, that shoots out a huge stream of geo energy. The geo stream fuses with the cryo ray, crystallizing it and thus created a huge cryo crystal that pierces the chest of Shouki no Kami.

"I-Impossible!"

Aether's sword fell down, and he caught it before he jumped upwards, and plunged the blade in the head of Shouki no Kami, tearing it open before he delivers a right hook to the Balladeer who is now exposed, knocking him out.

"Nahida, take the gnosis!"

And so, Nahida gracefully flew in front of the torn chest which houses the electro gnosis, and took it with her power. Shouki no Kami then powers down, and knelt down before falling flat to the ground. Aether managed to disconnect the Balladeer's body from the machine before jumping off.

"Is it over?" Ayaka asked, as she powers down as well, her cryo wings fading away.

"No... It's getting even worse!"

"Do you think that you will leave here alive? I have prepared a special trap within the workshop that springs out the moment you deactivated him!" It was Dottore's voice, another one of his seemingly unlimited segments.

The walls around the workshop then slides upwards, revealing a legion of ruin drakes and graders, ready to destroy.

"Archons above..." Ayaka muttered out.

The Drakes and Graders begin to close in their distance towards the group, who had nowhere to run. The segment then descends down from one of the Grader's shoulder, and walked towards the group slowly.

"Aether."

"Huh?" Aether looked towards Noelle, as she called him.

"Please, give me an order."

"What!? Are you planning to fight against them alone!?"

"Please, Aether. Or else, you and Lady Kusanali will not leave unscathed."

Aether was dumbfounded by this, until suddenly, the ground below them shook and the rest of the group finds out that Noelle has manipulated the earth beneath the floor where they are standing so that it can lift them back up to the entrance level.

"Noelle! What are you doing!? Don't do this!"

Noelle's eyes began to glow brightly.

"We can still get out together, Noelle! Listen to me!"

Noelle turned her face around to see Aether, and gave him a reassuring smile and nod.

"...Noelle, do it." Seeing that there is no way to convince Noelle out of this, Aether gives out the order, looking away from what was about to happen.

"Understood."

Once the group escaped the workshop, a huge dome out of geo then was created inside, trapping the Dottore segment, the ruin machines and Noelle herself inside the workshop.

"What are you planning to do? About to ready a big attack? Foolish, this segment and these machines are equipped with fast-acting self repair tools! You can't possibly--"

"I am getting rather tired of your existence, Doctor. Please prepare yourself, for my final judgement."

Dottore gave a puzzled look, as he then looked down to see pieces of the floor, then the earth beneath begin to rise up, and becoming tiny rose blossoms out of geo.

"Thank you for everything. Miss Nilou, Ladies Paimon, Ayaka and Kusanali... And especially you, Aether..."

After the amount of geo rose blossoms begin to surround the entire workshop, it then swirls around rapidly as if a tornado is collecting them. Noelle then jumps up to the air, and did one flip before floating in the air, where she opens her mouth, and in an instant...

A huge explosion occurs, which tears down the legion of ruin machines, their very bodies begin to disintegrate into nothingness so fast that their auto repair feature was unable to catch up, as well as the Dottore segment himself, who screams in agony as he sees his body, starting from his hands and feet starting to disintegrate into nothingness, alongside the workshop's entire structure. As for Noelle, crack marks begin to appear on her skin before her body starts to shatter into small pieces. A single tear fell from her eye right before her entire being disintegrates, and in the last second, that tear fades away into nothingness.

Outside the workshop, Aether and the others look as the former cavern entrance to the workshop caves in from the explosion.

"Noelle... You didn't have to do that..." Aether knelt down.

"She sacrificed herself... To save us all... Just like Greater Lord Rukkhadevata back then..."

Nahida and Ayaka remained quiet, as Nahida then looked emotionlessly towards the Balladeer's unconscious form. She has plans for him later, but there is something that she and Aether must finish first in private. She, Aether, Paimon and Nilou then walked off first, towards the Sanctuary of Surasthana in the city, but Ayaka stayed behind.

"Miss Ayaka... Aren't you coming with us?"

"I will catch up to you... So please, go ahead."

Ayaka continued to glance at the ruined cave entrance to the workshop.

"You've defeated me completely... In everything, from combat, to loyalty and many more... And what did you left for me here, Noelle...?"

Tears begin to fall down Ayaka's face, which freezes into ice on their way down to the ground.

"Why!? Why did you go out like that? Why, Noelle!?"

Ayaka grits her teeth, before continuing.

"Now I can no longer have the chance to prove myself against you... You went without fear... What does that make of me!?"

After one last glance, Ayaka turns around and caught up with the others.

"I am no friend... Yet you always treated me as your best..."
