-Zuri

"Can I have the bag"

"Let me, your Majesty"

"No thank you, I can handle it"

"But its heavy your majesty, you could hurt yourself" I look at the dainty cloth that held about 5 oranges and look back at the merchant incredulously.

"You have other customers to deal with, you can't leave your goods unattended"

"I'll have my servants help..."

"I got this" I take the bag from his hand and flee the scene. Waving him good bye I quickly meet up with my sister who waited for me by the corner,

"Did you get what you needed?"

"Yes, you?"

"No I haven't gotten the onions"

I look to my right and notice a bunch of onion sellers "Why didn't you buy from there?" I ask, gesturing in the sellers direction,

She chuckles nervously and I squint my eyes at her, before I could question her she was off

"Where are you going" I whisper-yell as I follow her but she gives no reply.

People part on the sight of us and I politely wave and smile as I walk past.

"Good morning princess"

"Good morning"

"Have some fruits princess"

"No thank you"

"Please check our vegetables, their fresh and..."

"No thank you"

"But princess their can improve your eyesight and..."

I keep my eyes on Abeni and notice she was getting called at too, the difference was that she didn't reply and soon disappeared from my sight.

"Fine but I'm not buying anything else" I say this to the hearing of the others and they respectfully back away making me secretly sigh in relief.

I didn't remember having eye problems but I bought a small stack to please the persistent seller who was grinning widely as I handed him the money

"Thank you princess"

"Your welcome"

I walked through the road I last saw Abeni and started trying to find her discretely

There wasn't a lot of sellers in these parts and when I was spotted the sellers chanted greetings but didn't leave their positions, I remember she wanted to buy some onions but couldn't spot any so I approach a woman selling earthen pots

"Good morning ma"

"What do you want?"

She looks at me inquisitively and I see recognition flash through her eyes yet she talks like I'm any other villager

I wonder what part of the kingdom I'm in, I haven't gotten this deep into the market before

I get pulled out of my thoughts by the seller "...oyals, acting liked every one has time to waste and..."

"Excuse me?" I interrupt the muttering seller and she turns to me with a blank face

"Your majesty my wares could get stolen if I'm distracted for long so I need to..." I cut her off mid-sentence, I was confused about her behavior but decided finding my sister was more important for now, plus who would want to steal earthen pots?
