No Ones POV

Lucas and Riley had been dating for 6 months now. He had met her uncle Shawn - who approved of Lucas. Everything was perfect. That is until Lucas's friend Zane from Texas showed up. As well as Derek, someone who used to b a bad influence on Lucas.

Lucas POV

Great just great! Not only is Zane here! But also Derek! I moved to NY to get a fresh start! And now my past is catching up with me. Worst of all, Rylie is asking questions!

No one's POV

R: tell me what happened back in Texas!
L: u wanna know the truth?
R: yes!
L: first tell me y u want to know?
R: bc I feel like idk who u r! Bc I feel like I'm loosing u to something and idk even know what that something is! I'm worried that whatever it is will change my opinion of u! And that's what scares me the most! Bc I don't want that to change!

Riley was in tears. Fell on her knees. Which broke Lucas's heart. So he wrapped her his arms. Before Lucas could respond the bell rang.

R: we better get to class.

She got up from where she sat and walked to class. Leaving Lucas there, alone with his thoughts.

After class - Riley's POV
Maya was stuck in detention. Farkle and Lucas had debate team practice. Dad had to stay after for meetings. So I was stuck walking home. By myself. 
I was almost home, when someone whistled @ me. I turn around and c Derek. With an evil grin on his face.
(D - Derek)
D: well well, aren't u a pretty little thing. Where's ur bf?
R: he...he's at debate team practice.
D: Lucas is on the debate team?
??: he's supposed to b. But he knew that you'd do something like this Derek!

I knew that voice anywhere. It was a voice that made my heart melt. Lucas.

L: Derek leave her alone. This as nothing to do with her.
D: after all this x u still think ur big a bad don't ya Friar? Well how about this? I think I'll go with no!

He moved closer to me and wrapped one his arms around my neck.

L: Derek please I'm begging you! Don't hurt her!

I could see the look in his eyes. They were filled with worry & regret.

D: u & I both know that I will eventual. But first tell me beautiful, what do uk about ur bf' life back in Texas?

R: nothing.
D: nothing? O so u dk how he was in a gang?
R: nnnno. *his grip around my neck was getting tighter*
D: u dk that he used to do drugs?
R: shook her head no.
L: alright Derek that's enough!
D: just one more question. Beautiful, did uk that ur Prince Charming over here used to also sell drugs?
R: *shook her head no*

& with that he spun me around so fast and hard that I banged my head on the sidewalk. The last thing I remember is Lucas attacking Derek! Then everything went black.
