Hold Me. & Never Let Me Go

Please forgive me! (Riles POV)

I was at the school bc the only place he dressed up like a cowboy was for the school dance.
There was this path of red & white rose petals with small candles lit on the side (a/n like on the picture). I followed that path. It led to gym doors. But the lights weren't turned on? I opened the doors anyway and the path of roses & candles continued right up until the very center of the gym. Where Lucas was standing. The closer I got, the more I could tell that he was wearing a suite....I felt out of place cause all I was wearing was a loose shirt, jeans, and wedges. I was finally standing in the center of the gym with Lucas.

R- Hi.
L- hi. Congrats.
R-on what?
L- u figured out all of my clues.

He smiled, I smiled back.

L- Riley I am so sorry! For everything! For blowing you, maya, & farkle off. For not getting to meet ur uncle Shawn. For making you feel like u are anything but the most important thing to me! & u r riles. U are everything to me! U are the best thing that ever happened to me and I let u slip through my fingers! I let the most precious thing in my life go. I love you Riley! I love you!!!! Ik we are only 14 & 15 and that some will say that we r too young to even fall in love. But I don't care! I don't care as long as I have u by my side!

At this point I was crying.

L- I loved it when u fell into my lap more than once all in the same day! I love how u thought that I wanted a grown up women like missy Bradford. I love you! & u may not believe me right now but I'll say now, until u believe me, and even after u believe me. I'll say it when uve hit rock bottom. I'll say it when you've made it to the top. I'll say when we graduate I'll say it on our first day of college! And I'll say everyday in between! I'll say it when u are giving birth our first born! I'll say when u feel like giving up! I'll say it everyday for the rest of my life!
By this point I was crying my eyes out!
L- just please say that u 4give me!

I looked at him an smiled.

R- well how can I compete with that? U had me go on this safenger. And when I get to the final destination I see a pathway of candles and beautiful rose petals. That lead me to u. Standing here looking very handsome I might add.

He gave me one of his famous Texas grins that I love so much!

R- & then u give me this long speech of how u love me? Well Lucas Friar.....I have one thing to say.....

By now he had a worried look in his eyes.
