The stranger in front of him has blonde shoulder-length hair tied into a messy bun, thick lips, a cute nose, and the most beautiful eyes that Seungmin has ever seen. Those eyes blink at him a few times before Seungmin pulls himself out of whatever trance he was put into—maybe the guy is a witch?
"Ah, just— I saw that you were opening a new shop across the street from me, so I thought I'd say hello?" the guy begins, looking a bit unsure of himself, but Seungmin thinks it's cute. "I'm Hyunjin, by the way. From the flower shop over there—" he points behind him to a little shop with a sign reading "Hyune Flowers". "I was painting the outside to make it look nicer when I saw you, and my shop is pretty new too, so... yeah, I thought I'd say hi."
Seungmin smiles, which seems to put Hyunjin more at ease. "Well, nice to meet you, Hyunjin. My name is Seungmin, and, uhm... I'm pretty new around here, I guess."

Once upon a time, Seungmin is looking at his first step towards integrating himself more into the human world: Minnie's Animal Shelter. A small shop with an apartment above it and lots of space in the back, perfect for hiding and taking care of magical creatures that have been affected by humans expanding their cities and towns into their territories like baby dragons, pegasi, griffins, and so on. Last night he already snuck in the first batch of creatures and had Jeongin and Chan help him create an invisible wall to hide and protect them, but only now he's really looking at the actual shop, and wondering if he'll be able to get along with non-magical creatures like cats and dogs as well as he can with magical ones. Elves have the ability to communicate with animals, so Seungmin guesses that he'll be fine.
He also hopes to get along with the humans around here, since his sister, who is about to be queen, wants to finally reveal the magical world that has hidden itself from the humans, because either they do it themselves, or sooner or later a human will stumble upon them and they will forcefully be revealed. Seungmin's parents don't really agree with it, they don't want to be involved with humans, so that's why Seungmin is going behind their backs with this animal shelter—

Seungmin jolts— oh gosh, a human? —and he turns around to see— oh my, he's gorgeous...

"Uhm, hi?" the stranger greets him, bashfully tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. "Do I have something on my face?— oh my gosh, I probably have paint on my face, right? And my hair is a mess—"
"It's okay!" Seungmin chuckles in amusement. He already thinks this guy is intriguing. "Sorry for staring, you look fine, just caught me off guard a bit. What did you want?"
