Dr Derek Shepherd. New attending at Seattle Grace Hospital, how fucking ironic.

As far as I was aware I had never committed an act that deserves this kind of karma, I mean seriously. Maybe it's my fault for not asking where he works, but who in their right mind gives a crap about someones occupation on a one night stand.

I scramble out of the door and walk as quickly as possible to get away from him, apparently the world was against me today as he catches up to me "Sunshine" he calls grabbing my arm "can I talk to you for a second" I am dragged over to the window by the staircase, his hand wrapped around my wrist.

"Dr Shepherd" I say, trying my best to keep our conversation as professional as possible.

He looks at me, a frown on his face "Dr Shepard" he replies "This morning it was Derek, now it's Dr Shepard"

"Dr Shepard, I think it's best if we pretend this morning didn't happen" I tried my best not to look at him for too long, damn he's pretty.

"What never happened? You sleeping with me last night? Or us having breakfast this morning?" He pauses tilting his head to the side like a puppy "because both are fond memories I'd like to hold onto"

His antics cause me to roll my eyes "Derek there can't be any memories, I'm not the girl in the bar anymore and you're not the guy. This can't exist you do understand that right?"

"We're both good looking, grown adults. We slept together what's wrong with that?" he shrugs.

My eyes widen and I probably look crazy "What's wrong with that? You're my boss" I pause registering his words "and you're not that good looking" a little white lie never hurt anybody right

"First of all, ouch, I'm hurt and actually the chief is your boss not me" his matter of fact tone made my fist curl and my stomach churn with want "So wanna go out again? Say Friday night?"

I pause for a moment, maybe, no. I shake my head "We can't, you're an attending and I'm your intern" He doesn't respond just looks me up and down "stop looking at me like that"

He doesn't stop "Like what?" He tilts his head innocently

"Like you've seen me naked" he smirks licking his bottom lip "Dr Shepard, this is inappropriate, has that ever occurred to you?" I turn and walk away, resisting the urge to take one more peek at his face.
