Chapter 12: over protective Dads

Mr Crouch looks t the two students before answering Dumbkedore. "The rules are absolute, the goblet of fire constitutes a binding magical contract. Mr Potter and Miss Lupin have no choice, they are as of tonight tri-wizard champions." Says the old man.

Y/N almost faints there she is so dead when her parents find out. Her and Harry hold onto each other as they leave the room both still Shaken.

Y/N leaves Harry and goes in searching of her Girlfriend as she really needs a hug of her before facing her over protective dads.

Third person pov...

Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall and MadEye Moody where all in Dumbledores offcie tlaking about the tri wizard tournament.

"This can't go on Albus. First the dark mark, now this?" Says the Transfiguration Professor she was worried about her Gryffindors.

"What do you suggest Minerva?" Asks Dumbledore as he uses his wand to pull out the memory of Harry and Y/N names being pulled put of the Goblet.

"Put an end to it. Don't let Potter or Lupin compete." She says firmly, she does not want her Gryffindors to compete no matter what.

She worries for Miss Lupins parwnts as well she expects to have them storming in any time now.

"You heard Barty the rules are clear." Insisted Dumbledore.

McGonagall looks at the Headmaster with wide eyes "the devil with Barty and his rules. And since when did you accomodate them..." she trails of as Professor Snape speaks.

"HeadMaster I too find it difficult to believe this mere coincidence, if we are to truly discover the meaning of these events perhaps we should for the time being let them unfold." He says having no particular like or dislike for either student.

"Do nothing?? Offer them up as bait? Potter and Lupin are children, not a piece of meat." Insists Professor McGonagall but Dumbledore didn't listen to her as usual.

"I agree with Severus. Alastor, keep an eye on Harry will you?" He asks the man

"And Minerva ask Miss Granger to keep an eye on Miss Lupin?" Asks Dumbledore to the two teachers, he had guessed thay there was something between Miss Granger and Miss Lupin.

"I can do that." Says the Auror

McGonagall sighs "Yes I will let Miss Granger know" she gives in finally.

"Don't let them know though, they must be anxious enough as it is... knowing what lies ahead. Then again, we all are."Says Dumbledore mysterious as always.

Soon MadEye leaves the office leaving only the Headmaster, Snape and McGonagall.

It was quiet before the fireplace lit up and twocvery angry Dad's were standing in front of the fire place. The three Professors looked at the Dog and Werewolf.

Remus's eyes were amber showing them that he didn't have alot of control over his wolf as he got the news of his daughter being in the tri wizard tournament.

Sirius wasn't much better he gripped his wand tightly in his hand grey eyes dark with anger. It was silent before Remus spoke.

"WHY THE FUCK IS MY DAUGHTER IN THE TRI WIZARD TOURNAMENT! HEADMASTER I CANT LOSE HER NOT AGAIN. I CANT HAVE HER OR HARRY COMPETE IN THIS DEATH TOURNAMENT!" He yelled his magic swirling around him neither perosn has seen the ever cool Gryffindor this angry Before.

Sirius was just as surprised at his Husband and held his hand making the man relax knowing Sirius was there. Knowone spoke fie a minute as Remus calmed down a little.

Dumbledore then led everyone to his desk where they all sat down, Sirius and Remus sitting together holding hands waiting fir Dumbledore to speak.

"Now then I am afraid there is nothing I can do to get both Miss Lupin and Mr Potter out if thr tournament" Speaks the Headmaster Remus and Sirius open their mouths to argue but the Headmaster put ls his hand up stopping them.

"But I have Alastor Moody and Hermione Granger looking out fir them, so do not worry gents your children are fine" he says making them relax.

"Fine but I want to see both of them now!" Yelled Sirius he wants to see his god son and Daughter to make sure they are okay.

Dumbledore nods his head and sends a message through his patronus to both students.

Minutes later...

Soon the two students had arrived as the door opened Y/N gasps and runs over to her Dad and hugs him tight while Harry runs to Sirius both men hug the kids tightly.

"Are you two okay" Asks Sirius as he wraps an arm around Harry, Y/N turns her head to him and tries to not cry (which is what's she's been doing since she found out about the tournament)

"I don't know Papa" she whispers while Harry shrugs. Sirius and Remus look at each other before pulling both kids in again for a big group hug. "Don't you two worry we will get through this" Says Remus looking at Harry and Y/N.

The two 14 year old nod their heads they will get through this together know matter what.
