"That was incredible!" Hanna congratulated me, referring to my battle with Dark.

"What an excellent display of power." expressed Blocker, with a subtle grin on his face.

"Dude, that was awesome." Ian said with a nod and a smile.

"I always knew you were destined to do something amazing." Zoey told me with a smile. "I can't think of anyone who has defeated Dark in a battle."

While it felt pretty awesome to defeat Dark, it all felt rather... fake. Or forced, if you will. It seemed that Dark was way too powerful for me to just defeat him with little combat experience whatsoever. I thought that what he was doing was letting me win so that I could be the one to defeat Blindipath.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to try to win? What if Blindipath was too strong for me?

Well, now I didn't have a choice.

"But now you're up against Blindipath." John reminded me. "Good luck, man!"

This was it. I was going to put an end to Blindipath and his/her sadism. I would save Kendra, defeat Blindipath, and later save the universe.

"Okay guys, I won't fail. I'll take down Blindipath and rescue Kendra! Then we can set our plan to save the worlds into action!"

"It's time for our final battle! Matthew vs. Blindipath!"

I stepped into the arena, and faced Blindipath. I had a look of determination in my eyes, and Blindipath was grinning at me. I couldn't tell what his/her eyes looked like, him/her being blindfolded and all.

One just had to wonder: How did he/she even see anything with that blindfold over his/her eyes?

"Sullivan, AJ, Blocker, Jeanette, Solone... You've dug your own grave, mister! Or miss, or missus, I can't tell. Whatever! You're just dead, okay?!" I yelled at the blind duelist.

"Foolish boy." Blindipath taunted me. He/she brought his/her hands together. "Light Minefield!" A blinding light came over the stadium. After the light cleared I saw...

Nothing different.

I scoffed as I saw the lack of any noticeable changes, but before I took a step forward, I thought about something.

He/she said "Light Minefield". This could have meant that he/she had set up mines made of light, which were in the ground. If I were to set foot on one of the mines, then I could be sent flying out of the stadium.

I carefully took a step forward, but I hadn't even set my foot down before Blindipath spoke up.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He/she warned me. He/she gave me a large grin. "There are now countless landmines everywhere. One wrong move and you will be gone."
