Solone, Blocker and I came back to Black Abyss. The Dark Orb in the center closely resembled the Light Orb of Shining Star now, except dark.
"So just five more now." Zoey stated. "How do we locate the next one?"
"I don't know." answered Blocker. "There's no real way to know for sure, as far as I know."
Solone looked too nervous to say anything. Any time he tried to say something, he would stutter and stammer, making most of his speech unintelligible. What was he trying to say?
"Nervous?" asked Blocker. Solone nodded, with a look of fear on his face. Blocker nodded and sighed. "Me too, Solone."
Suddenly, Solone worked up the ability to say something. "I'm nervous to venture into the outer world of Black Abyss. I've heard some truly dreadful things about the way Abyssians treat Starians..." before Solone could continue, he began stuttering and stammering again.
"And I've been eternally banished from Black Abyss." said Zoey. "We can't afford to be seen in public without disguises."
I wanted to have an idea of how to disguise Zoey, Solone and Blocker, but nothing came to mind.
"We could just kill everyone!" Suggested Pryce. He laughed evilly once more, and the rest of us just sighed. Three guesses as to how good of an idea I thought that was?
Zoey remained silent, and the whole room went silent as well. Zoey slowly turned her head all around, before nodding. "I don't think anyone is around." she informed us. "I think it's save for us to leave this place before we decide on our next course of action."
We all nodded in agreement as Zoey opened up the door with a couple of hand signs.
Upon exit, there was only one thing most of us could see: Darkness. There was nothing but blackness all round. As my eyes adjusted, I was able to make out some black trees and rocks, but it was mostly like a night sky without the stars.
"Coast is clear!" cheered Solone.
Well, I thought it as a bad idea to talk so loud. What if someone heard us? Someone... well, someone who wasn't necessarily on our side?
Before we had time to advance through Black Abyss, it became apparent that my bad feeling was right. I saw a figure advance towards us - I had no clue why, but it somehow seemed... familiar. As my eyes adjusted more, I realized that we had found ourselves face-to-face with a man no one wanted to see right now - Mr. Eschanette himself.
I couldn't quite tell everything which was happening on that face of his, considering how dark this place was, but I could make out a bitter scowl on his face.
"Zoey," began Mr. Eschanette with a sigh. "I told you that you weren't allowed back in Black Abyss. And for good reason, mind you." Mr. Eschanette rubbed his temples and huffed. "Our encounter in Shining Star should have been our last, but you guys somehow managed to find a way past my guards-" He looked and sounded like he was going to add on to that statement, but then he broke it off. "Anyway, there are consequences for all things done. It is dangerous to do things which you cannot predict the outcome of." Again, he sounded like he had more to say than that, but instead of adding onto it, he just left.
Zoey sighed as Mr. Eschanette left. "Well, that went differently than expected." She stated. "Anyway, we have to get some disguises. We need to end this war! They've been at this for far too long now, and it' sup to us to end it! It's causing destruction throughout the entire universe."
I nodded in agreement. "Right." I agreed. We already had released one of the links, and now we just needed to release five more.
I glanced over at my side to see Sabrina on her phone again. "Newsflash, guys!"
