Untitled Part 13

"How did they even get to you? You are untouchable?" Gregor asks Ripred confused.

"Even a Rager can be outnumbered Gregor." I say. Gregor like me and Ripred was a Rager which means you were born with a remarkably good skill of fighting, killing. You are born with the skill. 

"Any more fish? Im starving again." Ripred says. 

He stuck his nose in the remaining fish mash and lapped it all up. 

I felt a headache grow as Luxa and Ripred were in a intense fight it was loud and involved much yelling. I got more and more agitated as it continued. 

"Stop it!" Howard shouts. "You upset the children. You upset us all. You gain nothing by being at each other's throats." 

Howard was right, i looked around boots and Hazard stood by temp holding each other worried looks on their faces. The bats rustled their wings agitated and Cartesian rustled in his sleep. I was squeezing my stomach with one arm and rubbing my forhead with the other. 

"Who are you again?" Ripred asked. Ripred was gone on  trip and wasn't able to make it too the wedding. And id never introduced them.

"Shut up Ripred you know who he is." Gregor says. 

"No, I actually dont." Ripred says still staring at Howard. 

"Ripred, this is Howard. My husband. He is Luxa and Hazards Cousin and his father runs the fount." I say. Howard walks over and slings an arm around my shoulders. 

"Pleased to meet my kids husband, i was just about to say Howard made a good point, fighting gains us nothing, your Highness. We have much to do if we are to help your friends." 

"I do not need your help, Ripred." Luxa says.

"I suppose you can take on the Banes army yourself?" Ripred says.

"The Regalian Army will be here in a few days time and their Leader is already here. Lena will lead them into freeing the nibblers me by her side." Luxa says.

"In a few days there will be no Nibblers left to free." Ripred says.

That comment made her drop her hostile manner imminently. "What do you mean?"

"What do you think the bane is doing out here anyways?" Ripred says.

"We heard him speak. He said he was driving the nibblers to a place of no return." Howard says. 

"Into uncharted lands?" Gregor asks. "A place of no return."

"They would retrace their steps, Lena your smarter than this what is a place of no return." Ripred says looking to me. 

It takes me a second when i get it i gasp. "How did we not understand." I say in barley over a whisper.

"There we go she got it." Ripred says.

"What is it cousin." Luxa says. I guess that was accurate i guess i was her cousin in law now. 

"It's death." I whisper "He plans to kill them all." 

"So it would seem." Ripred says.

"Are you saying he means to kill?" Howard says. "All of them?"

"This is the general idea yes?" Ripred says.

"But there are thousands of them?" I whisper. "How?"

"It would be bloody. They would loose many lives." Ripred says.

Then Cartesian spoke up saying "so say i!" Howard rushed to check on his patient but Luxa made howard let him speak. "This is not like other times, the rats do not want the fount. We must fight!"
