Confessions!

OMORI—

(Y/NS) POV

"WAKE UP! WAKE UPPPPP!!!!" KEL shouts, and rudely awakens me. I yawn and stretch while slowly opening my eyes. "What do you want?" I groan, with almost no emotion in my voice, besides from a tiny bit of frustration.

"You've been asleep for soooooo long, come play cards with us bro!!" He says, before AUBREY runs over and bonks his head. "AWW why did you wake them up! They were cute when they were sleeping!" She says, with an angry expression on her face. "I just wanted to play with them! They're wayyy better than you!!!"

"It's okay guys, stop fighting. Let's play, alright?" I say. They both nod their heads and run over to HERO, who is looking at me apologetically. I shoot him a small thumbs up, before also walking over.

As we're all sat down playing a game, I hear a small creak from the door behind me. Everybody looks over and they all grin. "OMORI!!!" they all say, as I also turn around and smile a bit. Until.. KEL decides to run through all of our cards and ruin the game.. "KEL!!" AUBREY yells, and also runs over. "Don't worry about it guys, it's just a game after all." HERO says while walking over. "That's only cause you were losing!!" KEL says to HERO.

"Hi Omori, how are you?" I say as I walk over to him. He looks down as his cheeks go pink. I tilt my head, but in the corner of my eye I can see HERO and AUBREY look at each other... excitedly? I don't understand.

"Hey KEL, if I remember I'm pretty sure BASIL wanted us to go help him out in his garden!" HERO says. "What?? I don't remember-" KEL gets cut of by AUBREY "Ohhh yeah that's right! C'mon, let's go!" She says. I just look back and forth between them confusedly. "What about OMORI and I?" I say. "Umm you guys can just hang out! Just the two of you, yeah?" HERO tells us with a suspicious smile on his face. "Okayy, bye!" AUBREY says and drags KEL and HERO away.

I look back at OMORI. "What's gotten into them?" I ask him, and he just goes even redder. Only very lightly, but OMORI never usually goes a different colour, and neither do I. So this was a sight to see. "You see, there's something I've meaning to tell you for a while, (Y/N)." He tells me.

"Oh, go ahead. You know I don't judge." I say, and he just looks away while picking at his fingers.

"(Y/N).. I like you. More than as a friend. And.. I was wondering if you would give me the honor to go out with you.." OMORI stutters out, and I take a moment to reboot. OMORI likes.. me? Now that I think about it, he makes me happy, and not gonna lie he's super cute.

"..OMORI I... I like you too." I say with a small smile on my face. "What? Really? I was prepared for rejection.. I.. Wow, I don't know what to say." OMORI says. After a few seconds, he looks at me and grins, then gives me a hug.

SUNNY—

SUNNYS POV

Yep.. Todays the day. I've waited over 4 years for this moment.. Should I really do this? Would they even like me back!? Oh god... What if.. What if they hate me?!

"SUNNY! Earth to SUNNY?" AUBREY snaps me back to reality. Oh, right. She's the one who's making me do this. We're walking down the street to the park, where I asked (Y/N) to meet me.. "You can't back down now, alright?? You've liked them for years! And they might like you back. You gotta shoot your shot." She crosses her arms and looks at me.

I look down. "I dunno," I say. "What if we won't be friends anymore? What if... What if they hate me after this?" I ask her, and she just rolls her eyes. "Out of all people, you should know how understanding they are! And besides, I don't think they could ever hate you." She tells me, and I nod my head. "I guess you're right." She looks at me. "You've got this SUNNY. And if anything goes wrong, which it won't, I'll be right in the bushes behind you."

I look at her weirdly. "I still think it's kind of weird you insist on hiding.." I tell her. "I just wanna see this magical moment, I thought you guys were perfect together since day one! I've been waiting for this." She tells me.

At this point we're at the park, right outside of our secret spot. "A-Are you sure about this AUBREY?" I stutter out to her, and she nods. "Of course. Go get'em tiger!" She yells and pushes me into the entrance without warning. As I'm being pushed by her, I see (Y/N) and blush. I guess it's now or never.

They turn around and look at me, with a small smile on their face. Oh god... They're so cute, I can't. "Oh, hey SUNNY. What did you call me over here for?" I look away. "Okay. This is.. Hard to say." They put a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, don't worry, you know you can tell me anything." They say, and I can tell they really mean it.

I let out a sigh. "Alright. Uh. I.. Really l-like.. You.. Yeah, and um. I was wondering if you.. Y'know, might like me back?" I embarrassedly stutter out to them, as I watch their eyes widen. Oh god.. I was right, they really do hate me.

As they come closer to me, I close my eyes on impact. Expecting a punch in the face or them to be angry at me, but instead I feel them embrace me. "W-What.?" I say, and then I hear them let out a sigh. "I like you too, SUNNY. They whispered, and I feel myself tense up. Soon, I then feel warm tears running down my face as I smile like an idiot.

"AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!"
