Luke's POV
Of corse I wanted to beat the shit out of Calum, but after he yelled he didn't mean to pull the trigger I just felt bad. "Alright alright I let you all have a moment now back to your places! Let's have some more fun!" Peter smiled. I quickly walked over to Emily and pulled her into a hug and walked us back to the wall not breaking the hug. I hugged her tightly, knowing they were soon going to force us apart. "Calum, Anna... get your annoying asses back to the wall." Peter growled seeing that Anna and Calum haven't moved from their hug. The both stood up and awkwardly walked back to the wall.
We all had tear stained faces and I was completely done with Peter's shit. "Em how do you know Peter." I whispered letting her go only to intertwine our fingers. "Did I ever tell you the reason I moved to Australia 5 years ago? Well he's the reason. He was my old step-dad. He abused my mother and I. He hurt me worse though. He just about killed me when my mother told the cops about how he beats us. He's supposed to be in jail! I don't know how he got out or how he found me or how any of this is possible because he's supposed to be locked up." She explained louder then she should of. "Thank you Emily for telling everyone our past!" Peter laughed. "Well now that we have an even amount of you again let me just say these men here, helping me, are some of my buddies from jail. They helped me escape and find you, Emily." The men just stood there, like brick walls or something.
"JUST LET US GO PETER! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY LIFE! OR JUST KILL ME AND LET MY FRIENDS GO THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Emily yelled letting go of my hands to turn around and snarl at Peter. "Well they know the whole story now so I can't let any of you go." He chirped. Emily took a breath in, getting ready to say something but Peter cut her off. "You know what? This game takes to long. Let's play a knew one! It's called hide-and-seek but I've made new rules." I knew where this was going.

Peter moved us into another room which was huge with many hallways, other rooms, doors, windows and dead ends. I was examining the windows. They seemed like the kind that was hard to break but that wasn't going to stop me.
It was weird not having Mikey or Lexi with us. They were usually the crazy, loud ones. I know them being gone hasn't really sinked in yet which scared me. I was going to have to live with the memory of two of my best friends dying right in front of me. I guess Calum's got it worse.
"So you will all hide like the regular game but once I find you, its lights out!" He chuckled. "Fuck you man." Ashton murmured. "You have 30 seconds to hide! Ready? Go!" Peter cheered like a 5 year old.
He started counting. I grabbed Emily's hand and darted off, dragging her along behind me. I quickly checked each room we passed looking for something to throw at the window. "Ah! Here!" I cheered relieved to find a thin, metal chair in corner of a room. I ran to the chair, adrenaline pumping, and dashed back out the door. "20, 21, 22..." I heard echo down the hallway. "Luke we have to hide!" Emily whisper yelled. "I know I know let me just try this!" I whisper yelled back getting ready to throw the chair. "Luke stop! You're gonna lead him strait to us!" I looked behind me to see Calum and Anna peaking around the corner.
"29, 30!" Peter yelled 30 louder then the other numbers to let us know he was on his way. "Luke, Em!" Calum whispered motioning for us to follow them. I took Emily's hand again and quietly walked as fast as I could to Anna and Calum. "There's a room down here with many places to hide follow me!" He whispered in my ear. I just nodded and followed them around the corner.
We walked down a hallway for a little bit as silently as we could. "Here." Anna pointed to a dark room with a little-bit-less-then-half-opened door.
Anna and Emily we're small so they could easily slip through the door but Calum and I had to open the door a little bit more to fit in. As I went to slightly open it some more, with my luck, it creaked pretty loudly. "Shit." I cursed under my breath. "Luke!" Calum whispered pulling me quickly in. "Don't think I didn't hear that." Peter laughed. He sounded pretty close. Oh shit we're screwed.
Calum pulled me down behind a fallen bookshelf. "Luke! You might of just killed us all!" Calum punched me slightly in the arm. "Shh." I laughed quietly. "Shut up guys!" Anna whisper yelled from Emily and her spot underneath a desk. The desk was covered by a white sheet so they were out of sight. Good. I want them to be as safe as possible.
Calum's POV
I cringed at the sound of foot steps out side of the door, but was relieved to hear them slowly die off. "Ow Calum!" Luke whined "You're squeezing my arm!" He complained. "Hah sorry dude didn't notice." I laughed releasing his arm that I didn't know I was squeezing. "Gosh I think it's bruised." he pouted rubbing his arm. "Suck it up Luke grow a pair." He stuck his tongue out at me and I answered him with a disgusted look.
"Where's Ash and Katie?" I asked realizing Ashton wasn't here to laugh at our childish behavior. "Oh shit man, I don't know." Luke sighed scratching the back of his head. "We all just ran off in different directions I guess." He said still trying to be quiet. I just nodded and got up a little to peak over the book shelf to look where the girls were.
"KATIE!" I heard a deep yell come from down the hallway. "Ashton!?" Luke said pretty freaked out. "Luke shush he could hear you!" I whisper yelled at him. The next thing I heard was laughter and BOOM! A gun went off. "Katie?! Ashton?!? What? G-guys!" Luke started to flip out, jumping over the fallen shelf and running to peak out the door. "Luke!" Emily whispered confused. "Get back here! He could see you?! Are you trying to get us killed?" Emily seemed pretty mad. "Ashton and Katie are out there and one, if not both, are dead! We have to find them..." Luke trailed off turning to look at Emily. You could see the pain in his eyes from the small light coming from the hallway.
It was silent. I was about to say something when I was cut off by screams. All of our heads flung to look at the door. "Luke..." I warned. He just gave me a sad look and sprinted out the door into the hallway. "LUKE!" I yelled hopping over the shelf to run after him. "Calum! Luke! Wait!" I heard faintly behind me but I kept running after the tall, blond boy. "Luke stop!" I yelled in between breaths. He kept running. "Luke! Stop being stubborn!" I yelled trying to catch my breath. I really wish I was more athletic but I guess it's hard to be when you drop out of school.
He ran to the edge of the hallway but he immediately stopped in his tracks. My heart was pounding. I could see the blood drain from his face. Oh shit oh shit. "A-Ash?" He said with confusion. "L-Luke what is it?" I stumbled, thinking the worst. "Luke, run." I heard Ashton say. You could hear he was in pain. Like he was shot. He was shot. "N-no I can't lose you too." Luke cried dropping to his knees.
I slowly walked to Luke. As I turned the corner to see what Luke's crying over, I felt light headed. There they were. Ashton and Katie.
Ashton was sitting with his back against the wall and Katie's head in his lap. Her hair was covered with blood. "Oh god." I was trying to breath but I just couldn't. "Cal, you need to get everyone out." Ashton gulped. "A-Ash." I couldn't breath. "Calum breath. Breath Cal its okay. Just get everyone else out alive. You're the oldest now." My vision was blurry but I could see he was crying.
I turned to look at Luke. He had his head in his hands and was shaking. I bent down to try and comfort him. "Cal, Luke you need to go he's-he's close." Ashton was crying but his voice was strong. "Is-is Katie de..." He cut me off. "Yes, a bullet to the head. I watched her die Calum. I watch 2 of my best friends and the girl I loved die. And the worst part is I never told them I loved them. I never told Katie I loved her more then a friend." He was running his hands through her blond hair. "Go." he cried. "Ash no," "GO! Get out of here! Live."
Anna's POV
Emily and I ran after Luke and Calum. They both stopped and were talking to someone but I couldn't see who because they were around the corner but I had a pretty good idea who they were. When we started to get close I stopped running and grabbed Em's arm to make her stop too. We walked quietly to Calum and Luke who were kneeling and I'm pretty sure both were crying. Oh god please no.
"GO! Get out of here! Live." Is all I heard before Calum stood and pulled Luke up. Cal nodded at (who I'm assuming was) Ashton and turned to walk in my direction. When he saw we were there he just started to cry more which made me cry and I heard Emily start to cry and I knew Luke was crying too.
I didn't have to ask about Ashton and Katie. I knew they were both dead.
