Madara slowly wakes. It's early dawn; he looks around, and right as he is going to panic, about to fling himself off the bed, when the door opens, and in comes Mochizuki with a tray of inarizushi and a cup of tea. Madara's heart slowly calms as he relaxes; Mochizuki takes a seat on the edge of his bed. She picked up a piece of sushi with oak wood chopsticks, smiling, "I made you your favorite, inarizushi." she softly spoke as she lifted it to his mouth. Madara blushes a light red as his heart beats faster, slowly eating the sushi from her chopsticks. She has a bittersweet smile, but even though it should be awkward, the air isn't tense or uncomfortable; it feels normal. Mochizuki sets her chopsticks down after giving Madara the fourth piece; she gets the wooden cup and gently places it on Madara's lips. The Uchiha blushes a darker red and drinks. Then, in perfect sync, she removes the cup, and he pulls away. Her smile is soft and sweet; Madara smiles at her, "Madara...I..." Mochizuki starts, "I'm so sorry...for vanishing." She holds her head down, waiting to be yelled at, scolded, or feel his anger. Nothing happened; he only put his arms around her and pulled her close. She blushes as tears form in her eyes; she wraps her arms around him and buries her face into his robes. Madara holds her close, stroking her back gently as he feels her tears soak into his robes. They spent a few moments in each other's embrace and spoke no words. Mochizuki slowly pulls away, drying her face with her kimono sleeve, "Madara, there is something I need to tell you.." Madara looks at her, and as she opens her mouth to speak, in comes Izuna, slamming the door open, and he says, "You're finally awake! I have so many questions! Why have you kept her a secret from me!? A secret for so many years, Madara!" Mochizuki and Madara look at Izuna, and she giggles as Madara rolls his eyes at the younger Uchiha. Mochizuki's nerves are knotting up in her stomach. She has to tell Madara about her sons. Their sons.
