I woke up happy today because today is the day Im going to tell lucas I love him.Im also kinda nervous,I mean I don't know what to say or how to tell him how I feel.Usually I dont do this but when I got up and went straight to the bathroom and kept repeating to myself "you can do it,he will not reject you."Those words kinda bulit my confidence for today,In a way.I got on my skateboard and headed to school.I was greeted by a happy dustin.He told me that he won tickets to go to disney land which was really cool in my opinion.I opened my locker and from the corner of my eye I saw lucas talking to a cheerleader.Of all the cheerleaders in the world it had to be madison,the biggest brat of the whole galaxy.Her dad is like super rich and owns half of hawkins.for that reason she thinks she can pick on the rest of us and call us "poor."Honestly I don't know why my life sucks so bad.

Today as I was opening my locker,madison aka the most popular girl and cheerleader came up to me and asked if I could come over her house.I told her no bc well I already knew what that would lead to and I planned on making up with max today.She stormed off and just as she did I saw max leaving from her locker.I wanted to hang out with her and try to make up.So after first block I caught up with her and asked her "do you wanna maybe hang out sometime,if your up for it ?" I waited for an response and to my surprise she said "yes."I felt so relieved and happy that she literally wanted to go out with me.I promised myself that I would take care of her this time so we wan't break up again."I'm going to be the best boyfriend ever."

lucas just asked me out and I said yes.I was so happy that he did it for me so I wouldn't have to suffer trying to get an answer out of him.I skateboarded home after school was over and the first thing I did was call el and tell her the news.I called el and she was more than happy for me since the last time we talked I was talking about how me and lucas had broken up.She said she was coming over my house to help me pick out an outfit for my date with luacs.afters a couple of hours el had arrived.I opened the door and she basically tackled me onto the floor.It was a long time since they actually hung out so they wanted to make the best of it.After hours of arguing they finally agreed on something.

Even tho it really wasn't max's style she thought it would impress lucas.Which she thought was a good thing in this case.She did a little bit of makeup and waited on lucas who was soon to arrive.10 minutes later lucas arrived and when he saw her he looked like a kid opening presents on christmas.He was to stunned to even speak.He was blown away.She got into the car and got the wrong idea and thought lucas was disgusted by her so she didn't look at him and kinda felt bad.She thought he would like it but by the way he had looked she thought there wasn't a way he liked it.Max soon then felt eyes on her and when she looked up,lucas was looking at max right in the face.he had to ask "whats wrong?" I felt tears coming and I coudn't stop myself from speaking that truth so I said "You think I look bad so that's why I can't look at you,im so ashamed of myself."I was crying so bad that I couldn't see anything but just then I felt hands and on my cheeks and when I looked up it was lucas.He had this sincere look on his face and told me that I was absolutely stunning.I was totally shocked by his words.After all being said they finally left for their date.

I was still on edge about this situation that had just happen.I mean how could max even think that I would feel disgusted by her.she is the prettiest girl I have ever seen in my whole life.I wish she would finally just understand that I love her and nobody else.I just kept driving to our destination.Before all of this I was happy for our date because it was a surprise for max.But honestly max finally put it into perspective and ask "where are we going?" I wanted to keep it a surprise so kept putting it off for as long as I could but of course she asked in a angry tone this time and said "Lucas where in the hell are you taking me?" But when she asked we were pulling up to the location and I said "your about to find out." when we arrived max jumped out the car and she looked so surprise.I took her to a carnival that was in town.We went on so many rides and on one of them max grabbed my hand really tight.I felt so proud in myself I made max happy for once.when we were done and was in the car max couldn't stop talking about it.I really felt happy in that moment.When I reached her house before she got out she kissed me and said"thank you for tonight."
