Max and Lucas just joined highschool with the party not knowing what to expect.Lucas is trying to fit in with everyone,trying not to be a freak like every other year.On the other hand max is not up for the challenge and just want to die.She feels so uncomfortable with her self and thinks everyone is looking and talking about her.Lucas tries his best to comfort her but also trying to deal with himself.He thinks that max needs to open up to him and just talk about her feelings but he knows that max is stubborn.Max knows that lucas is just trying to help but she would prefer if he just didn't.After school ended max just wanted to go home but lucas wanted to catch up with her and talk for a bit.As lucas tries to talk, max just can't stand it and tells him to please stop and leave her alone.lucas just stands there in shock as max walks away.Max really wasn't trying to be mean but she just wanted time alone to herself away from everything.Lucas was pretty upset but he decided to just give her some space.That night,max was crying in her room because she thought about everything that has happened in her life and felt like it was all her fault.She ended up crying herself to sleep.Lucas just thought to himself "what could make max happy", so he planned a movie night with everyone and invited max to come.he put up all the decorations and soon everyone showed up,well almost everyone.Max still didn't show.After the movie lucas went to max house.When he got there,max was sleep.He found a rock and through it had her window,max woke up scared and shocked.She opened her window and asked lucas what did he wan't,lucas said he just wanted to talk.Max said there wasn't anything to talk about,lucas kept trying then the words he never wanted to hear came out."Im breaking up with you.
