-3rd Person POV-

Casey's back hit the cold cement floor with a thud. All he could hear was muffled honking and people conversing with each other. His head was foggy and unclear, but he quickly got his mind straight and sat up. He glanced around and gasped at the sight of lights and towering buildings.

They made it...

He heard Leonardo groan in pain. Casey quickly turned his focus to his master, who lay on his front plastron. "Sensei!" Casey exclaimed aloud. People began to take notice and whip out their phones, but Casey didn't seem to care. Casey put Leonardo's arm over his shoulder and quickly descended into the closest alleyway.  Casey shivered as a cool breeze flew past him. He found a nice, isolated place, away from the bustling city. He then placed Leonardo down, his sensei leaning his carapace (shell) on the alleyway wall. The wall was splattered with artistic graffiti with a wide range of colors.

"Master, we made it! " Casey joyfully said, looking down at Leonardo with a smile. But he then saw that his eyes were closed, and his plastron slowly raised and fell as he took long, deep breaths.  "Master?" Casey asked, anxiety hinted in his voice. "It's ok, Case. Just resting my eyes," The old red-eared slider informed, sounding exhausted. Casey sighed and collapsed to his knees. He was unbelievably tired after everything that happened. Master Michelangelo then filled his mind like adding a drop of dye to a cup of water. He held back his tears, took deep breaths, and got to his feet. He glanced over to his mentor and said, " Ok, Master Leonardo, what do we do?" Leonardo didn't respond. "Master?" Casey questioned, anxiety hinting in his voice yet again.

Casey moved in haste to check Leonardo's pulse, and he assumed that his master had unfortunately fainted from blood loss. He looked down at him but then dove into his pocket and took out some basic medical bandages. He wrapped it around his master's abdomen and thought, 'This will be ok... for now.' The worried young boy began to pace, trying to think of a plan. Glancing down at Leonardo peacefully sleeping, he noticed a piece of paper peeking out of his sensei's belt. He leaned down and snagged the paper and looked at it. A picture of his master huddled together with his brothers, father, and best friend April. He needed to do something...fast. He was never really the one to make plans back in the future (or the present for him) so he struggled. He thought for a minute but then sighed and looked at the photo again, sniffing. "I wish you guys were here..." Casey said, tears threatening in his eyes. He stayed there for a minute reflecting until he realized... They Were Here, He Just Needed To Find Them!

He flipped down his mask and scanned the picture for any way to locate the beings in the photograph. He noticed the book titled 'EASTLAIRD UNIVERSITY' in the young woman's grip and he whispered, "April, she'll know..."  An address popped up on his visor and he dashed to his master. Gingerly picking Leonardo up and leaning him on his shoulder, Casey and his sensei dashed away into the shadows of the evening...

-April's POV-

"Apriiiiiil O'Neil!" I whispered, doing a barrel roll. I scurried on all fours to a counter located in the secret lab under Eastlaird University. Using the flashlight on my phone, I stood up and observed the table's contents. The surface was covered with vials full of glowing blue substances on racks and scattered folders titled 'SECRET'. "This stuff looks nasty!" I exclaimed to myself. I recorded what I was witnessing on my phone and stuffed my backpack full of the slim, blue-filled, beakers. But I then heard a voice from behind me. "Hey! Who's there!?" A man shouted out. I guessed it was a security guard. Before the guard could spot me, I vanished into the shadows of the room and slipped past him unnoticed.

I exited through the roof and landed perfectly in front of the building with my phone in hand. "Evidence baby!" I cheered, tossing my phone up in the air, intending to catch it. Unfortunately losing my grip on the device, it hit the ground and shattered into many pieces. "Oh boy..." I sighed aloud, not caring about the volume of my voice. My eyes darted around my surroundings, and then a smile crept onto my face. I reached into my green-cropped varsity jacket pocket and pulled out a radiating blue vial. I bring it up to my face and exclaim, "Well, it's a good thing video ain't the only thing I took!" I took off my backpack, placed the vial into my bag with the many other stolen vials, and then zipped it up. I equipped my backpack and began to walk away from the university and towards the New York streets.

I felt like I was being watched. I tried ignoring it, but the feeling wouldn't leave me alone. My mind was racing but then...

"Commander O'Neil!" A man yelled from behind me.

Turned on my heel and balled my hands into fists. "CAT-LIKE REFLEXES!" I shouted while hitting the unknown being. At first, I thought it was the security guard from earlier, but then I realized the man behind me was carrying another person. I looked down at the two stalkers.

The first one, who had been carrying the other, had shoulder-length black hair and a white, skull-shaped mask with red stripes over the eye holes. He was slim and had a tattered-up beige cape.

The other was larger than the other. He had pale green skin and red stripes on his eyes. I then noticed the grim bandaged-up wound on his side. Was that... Leo?

"What the..." I said, glancing between the two lying on the ground in Infront of me. My eyes darted around me. 'I need to call the boys,' I thought to myself, trying to spot a nearby payphone. I couldn't use my cellphone because of recent events. My eyes finally found a payphone across the street. I dashed in the direction of the public telephone and arrived in a matter of seconds. Taking loose change from my pockets, I shoved the coins into the slot and punched in Raph's phone number on the small, numbered pin pad. I took the phone in hand and put it up to my mouth. I waited for a few seconds, getting impatient until a voice answered.

"Hello? Who is this?"
