-3rd Person POV-
(Damn it's almost been a YEAR💀)
Thoughts raced through the three turtles' heads as they sped toward the med bay where the wounded mutant was located. Their bare feet pattered against the ground, like 3 little children indulging in a game of Tag. Arriving at the door of the repurposed train car, they gazed upon a battered yet muscular figure.
Everyone was quiet; no one moved. Leo noticed the streams of tears running down the familiar man's pale green face and the quiet whimpers that escaped his mouth. He appeared to be fixated on the scenery of the lair; like he was in a trance. Leo took a step toward the man but was easily halted by Raph's thick arm held in front of him. The red-eared slider grunted quietly in annoyance. Raph took cautious steps toward the mutant, remaining unnoticed. Raph was about 3 feet away from him, brainstorming about what to say to the blue-masked foreigner.
"Hello? Uhm," Raph ventured in a soft, uncertain voice.
The mysterious Yokai's breath hitched as he broke out of his trance.
-Master Leonardo's POV-
I couldn't believe it. I was in the past. Wasn't I supposed to be dead? Everything is a complete blur.-
I was broken out of my trance as a quiet voice uttered a subtle, "Hello? Uhm." My breath hitched in my throat as my eyes redirected themselves to a tall figure beside me. My eyes widened at the sight. The 6-foot mutant turtle fancied a red bandana and black aesthetics. His young facial features formed a curious expression. My eyes were pouring but discarded the fact.
"Raph?" I croaked, struggling to steady my breathing. The red turtle swiftly took a step back in an evasive manner, revealing two other figures. The first one was a mutant turtle about 9 inches shorter than the red one. He sported matching aesthetics with Raph but his bandana was bright tone of purple. His face was perplexed yet oddly calm.
"Dee?" I said under my quivering breath, my eyes darting to the last figure. I paused. He was about 2 inches taller than Donnie and had a blue mask, his expression utterly puzzled. My stomach dropped and my eyes dilated. My vision began to blur as I was suddenly boiling with sudden anger.
"YOU," I snarled, staggering closer to my younger self. The one who made this mess. The one who got his brothers killed. The one who doomed the world. My mind pooled with terrible memories, ones too gruesome to even think about. "YOU DID THIS," I exclaimed, my view going tunnel vision as I prepared to tackle him. A sharp agonizing pain traveled through my torso. "SHIT!" I cursed out, losing my balance. A strong pair of arms caught me and held me back. He did this. I did this. It's all my fault. My vision was clouding with darkness, as the whole past world around me disappeared.
'I'm so sorry.'
-Mikey's POV-
The room was quiet. Uncomfortably quiet. I kept trading glances with April and Dad, waiting for something to happen. I had mixed feelings about the situation at hand; who were these guys? The mystery boy appeared to be collecting his thoughts, then he broke the silence.
"My name is Casey Jones, and the reason why my master looks like Leo is because we're from..." he paused for a brief second, causing a dramatic effect.
"The future."
Attempting to hold back my laughter, I covered my mouth as did April and Dad. Unable to restrain, we all burst out into a booming choir of chuckles.
"This isn't a joke," Casey declared.
April wiped away a tear and uttered, "Really? You think we'd believe that?" She stationed her hands on her hips leaning to the side.
"IT'S TRUE!" The boy cried. "I need you to believe me! Humanity depends on it! In the future, an alien race decimated the planet. We were hunted, we ate leaves and rats-," The boy paused as he glanced at Pops. "No offense?"
"None taken. We are delicious!" Pops remarked, flicking a piece of the buttered popcorn into his mouth. I shot my head to Dad in a shocked yet disgusted glare. Is Dad a cannibal?!
"I know how this sounds, but Master Leonardo gave me a mission," Casey stated, brushing off Pops disturbing comment.
"Wait, you call Leo master?" I asked in disbelief.
"Of course I do! He's the greatest ninja the world has ever seen!" He proclaimed, a smile forming on his stubbled face revealing a chipped tooth. "He told me to find the key, stop the Krang."
"Aliens?" April chimed in sarcastically, blowing a raspberry. "Sure~. This story just keeps getting better-." April halted as Dad reached his hand over and turned off the bright projector. "Splints?"
"The Krang?"
