(y/n) and Steven had gone out to eat at a restaurant for their date night.

They had gone to the most expensive restaurant in Beach City, however (y/n) didn't expect rich people to be such assholes.

while sitting down at their table, dim lights the moon the starts vegetation around them just perfect romantic setting, the old people from the table next to them kept going the couple dirty looks.

"Steven I'm not sure if I'm completely comfortable being here" (y/n) said with timidly looking at the people from the other table "I think we should just go eat fast food or something I mean I'm fine with burgers 🤷‍♂️"

Steven looked at (y/n) with an encouraging face "don't worry about these people baby, I'm here with you if anything happens ok?"

Steven said with a smile and then the waitress came to give them the drinks they had ordered. The best two bottles of champagne the house had to offer.

After they finished eating their meal Steven wanted to go to the restroom leaving (y/n) on the table alone.

this was the perfect setting for someone else with malicious intentions.

"heyyyy" a guy said to the lonely (y/n) "what's your name?"

(y/n) instantly knew what this rando was trying to do so he shooed him away.

"I have a boyfriend, please leave me alone" (y/n) said directing his attention back to his phone.

the guy however did not go away and instead sat with (yn) making him even more creepy.

"okay? so he's not here. what if I get you something to drink huh?" the guy said taking out his black credit card, showing he had money to spare. another rich asshole.

in this moment Steven came back and saw the guy on his seat.

"am I interrupting something?" Steven said looking at the guy with a grin.

"look champ leave me and this cutie alone ok? and bring a bottle of smirnoff PRONTO" said the guy shooing Steven away.

"I am not the waiter, I am HIS BOYFRIEND" said Steven standing behind (y/n) and putting a hand on his shoulder signifying his care for his boyfriend "and YOU have to leave"

the guy left Steven's seat with a smile and slowly retreated "easy there handsome, ill leave for now but knowing guys like your boyfriend he is DYING to have me back"

when he left Steven looked at (y/n) with an who-does-this-guy-think-he-is expression. after having a wonderful time Steven walked with (y/n) to the exit holding hands, when the guy from earlier came back.

"Steven why don't you start heading to the car? it's really cold outside and i would want the seats to get warm first"

(y/n) said plotting something.

"ok but just watch out for that guy ok love?" Steven said starting to go.

"I will, trust me love :)" (y/n) said as Steven came out from the exit, and as soon as he left the guy returned.

"Hey there baby cake glad to catch you here by yourself" the guy said approaching (y/n) and being really close to him.

"you know, if you're so brave and straight forward, why don't you wait for me in the restroom? I'll meet you there in a sec" (y/n) said winking at him.

seeing this the guy instantly went to the empty restroom and while he was in there (y/n) covered the door with a chair locking the exit indefinitely. this is exactly what assholes like him deserve.

(y/n) came back to the car with Steven and told him all about it and they both laughed about that on their way home, later coming to realize that the guy was stuck in the restroom all night until the next day because no one checked the restroom when they locked up.

it was one of their best monthly anniversary dates ever ❤.
