— noah has an acute knowledge of magic and spells but no experience. he would be a good man in a chair or good instructor in a fight but a terrible leading man.

opinion on magic
— noah thinks it's cool but it scares him a little bit, noah definitely doesn't want to do magic but he wants to learn all about it. noah is usually down at the library studying the history of the boiling isles or trying to find a way back home.

opinion on boiling isles
— his opinion is similar to his opinion on magic, this place is seriously creepy but interesting. he loves learning about the history of the boiling isles and about the culture differences between the human realm and the demon realm. noah isn't fond of the nickname 'the small human' which it seems almost every witch and demon agreed to call him. 

opinion on luz & eda
— luz is odd. at first she is a bit too much for him but slowly he starts to appreciate her for all of her odd hobbies and quirks. noah sees luz as his beacon of home, she has been at the boiling isles for four months, she understands what he is going through and unlike most of the humans who just arrived in the demon realm, luz understands that he is home sick. luz almost immediately sees noah as a little brother.
— noah is grateful for eda taking him and the other humans in, especially given her financial situation. noah and eda have a tricky relationship, eda is hard on noah, a lot harder than she is on king, luz or any of the other humans, she is continuously picking on noah, he knows that she is joking and means no ill intent but it doesn't annoy him any else. noah is always asking questions about the history of magic, he even once asked eda why she didn't have magic (touchy subject, she didn't speak to him for a whole week). eda always gave him half-answers, well that was until he started asking about covens and emperor belos, eda had no problem explaining how the emperor is a tyrant.

opinion on emperor belos & covens
— given that most of noah's knowledge of magic comes from eda, lilith and luz, it's understandable to say that noah does not like emperor belos, he's a tyrant as luz and eda calls him and after doing a bit of research himself, he can't help but agree. noah has done a lot of research about wild magic and every book in the bonesborough library says that wild magic is dangerous and that it angers the titan but it wasn't until 50 years ago that the titan had a problem with it, it just doesn't make sense.

— noah is a harder worker and incredibly driven, he wants to get home, needs to get home and prefer it to be as soon as possible. noah hates being sidetracked, he hates going on silly little quests if it doesn't help him and his goals. whenever noah finds himself enjoying himself he feels guilty, (I'LL ADD TO LATER)

background
— noah was born to a nineteen year old girl named hannah jacobs and her boyfriend, twenty four year old mack johnsen. mack was older and had a lot more power than hannah did. mack was abusive and when noah was born he trapped her in her relationship with mack. growing up hannah never resented noah, she was a good mother and did her best raising noah given the situation. noah was seven when his baby sister august was born, august was a high risk pregnancy and hannah almost died. due to the state of both hannah and august, they had to stay at the hospital, leaving noah alone with mack. noah and august were placed into foster care the night that august was born after hannah told the hospital that she can not leave noah alone with mack. noah was only supposed to go into foster care for a few months while hannah had time to leave mack, get a job and a house. hannah never ended up leaving mack. six years later noah is still in foster with his six year old sister august, they live with a nice old couple in gravesfield and he is still waiting for his mother to come and bring him home.

— he just wants to get home, sure he is interested in magic but he doesn't care too much about it, noah only wants to learn about magic because he just wants to get home to his younger sister before august thinks he abandoned her.
