Kaydence's smug demeanor changes automatically when the words slip out of my mouth. Her lips part and I can see her hand tighten around the cup she's holding while her eyes gaze at me in shock. I'm faintly paying attention to the rest of the lads and Nicole when Liam, Zayn, and Louis chuckle before taking sips from their cup while Nicole and Niall don't drink.

I can see out of the side of my eye that everyone Is glancing between Kay and I, as I wait for her to take a drink. I know about her and Max already, I just want her to fucking admit it to me. I raise my eyebrow at her as if telling her 'well do it' and that seems to snap her back to reality. She blinks at me once then glances down at the cup in her hand as she slowly brings it to her lips, taking a small sip.

"Oh, shit. " Liam mutters to himself but it's loud enough for me to hear. I gulp down the food I ate from coming up my throat as I think about Max kissing her and look down at the bowl of chips sitting in the middle of the table.

"Aren't you going to take a drink? " She has the god damn nerve to say to me. My eyes flicker up from the bowl to look at her, narrowing when I see she's moved to cross her arms over her chest in a stuck up way. She was so fucking annoying.

"I would if I had actually kissed anyone in the last three months." I laugh humorlessly and it's satisfying to see her frown in guilt.

"That's a lie, didn't you kiss Kendall?" Zayn asks and I glare at him for even bringing that up.

Kaydence stiffens at the mention of her name but I ignore her. "No. We kissed once. And that was like six months ago, and it was a pr stunt. " I point out, while shrugging.

Kaydence doesn't seem to relax even after I've said that and I try to avoid making eye contact with her. I'm the one who's pissed here, she has no right to be.

"Alright my turn." Louis pretends to think hard before snapping his fingers and grinning. "Never have I ever been in love. " he wiggles his eyebrows and I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"Isn't the point of 'never have I ever' that you say something you've never done? " Niall says and Louis smirks back at him as he takes a drink from his beer.

"I break the rules." He simply answers then turns to look at the rest of us. "Oh don't pussy out on me lads, drink up! "

Liam and Zayn shake their heads as they take a drink, while Niall sits back glancing over at Nicole when she hesitantly takes a drink. Kaydence notices too and her eyes automatically slide over to me before looking back at her, then down at the table. She sighs, then quickly takes a drink from her cup and setting it back down. I ponder whether or not to drink but everyone would know I was full of shit if I didn't. I roll my eyes to myself then bring the rim of the bottle to my lips, Kaydence watching me momentarily before looking away. 

Niall sighs loudly and rubs the back of his neck. "These never have I ever's are so boring, make it more interesting. "

"If you have something good then you say it Niall. " Louis challenges and Niall sits up in acceptance.

"Fine. " He mutters, chewing on his bottom lip as he thinks. "Okay, never have I ever had sex in the shower. "

I choke on my own spit and Kaydence's plastic cup falls to the floor. She bends down to pick it up, and when she sits back up her cheeks are bright pink. She fumbles to set her empty cup back down, reaching over to fill it back up with alcohol and avoiding eye contact with me.
