Quick AN: I really don't know how to make this chapter less awkwardly writen so once again, bear with me :/
Vance's POV
"Vance, look out!" Dick cried out.
I immediately turned my attention back to Klarion and found a ball fire aiming for my face. I closed my eyes shut and shielded myself with my hands, thinking that that was it. That my life was just going to end there and then.
Vance Huxley aka Xanver. Born 1993, died 2010 during a fight against a whiny villain with really cool horns. Vance Huxley will be missed by family and friends.
"Died during a fight against a whiny villain" I mean, come on. What a tragic way to die, am I right?
Except... I didn't die.
Confused, I opened my eyes. Holy shit, I'm alive.. Wait, how am I alive? I looked up in the direction of the fireball and found it floating in midair.
"Holy-" I exclaimed, covering my mouth with my hands. The moment my hands moved away, the fireball came crashing down onto the ground.
Even the whiny Witch Boy was confused. "No no no! I want him dead! Why isn't that little nuisance dead?!" Klarion screeched.
I released the force field around my friends and let it come down. The team ran to my side.
"Dude, you have telekinesis now?" Wally said in disbelief.
"I'm pretty sure this isn't telekinesis.." I said.
"Okay but new powers? Seriously? Why does everyone get cool powers but Artemis and I are stuck with arrows and batarangs?" Dick complained.
"Stay focused! We will discuss Xanver's new powers once we're done with this fight." Kaldur said, immediately taking charge as the leader.
Everyone nodded in agreement.

Third person POV
As everyone continued to fight Klarion and Teekl, Zatanna's mind kept going back to Doctor Fate's helmet. Yes, the team was coordinated and well trained but their repeated attempts at defeating Klarion were fruitless.
They couldn't even bring down Klarion's force field, let alone defeat him.
Wally said that they should attack Teekl if they wanted to have a chance at defeating Klarion but no one could even make Teekl bleed.
We need Doctor Fate... Zatanna thought to herself.
M'gann, mind link? Zatanna said in her mind.
Re-establishing mind link... M'gann mumbled while trying to bring the force field down.
Once the mind link was established between the whole team, Zatanna finally voiced out her opinion. Guys, believe it or not, we need Doctor Fate. She said.
Zatanna, no- We're not that desperate. Conner said, recalling the time Nabu almost didn't let Wally go until Kent Nelson insisted so.
Oh come on Conner, let's face it. We aren't defeating Klarion any time soon! Only Doctor Fate is capable of putting Klarion in his rightful place and you all know that! Zatanna insisted.
A sigh from Vance could be heard. Dammit, I didn't want to say this but Zatanna is right. Klarion is a Lord Of Chaos, if we want to bring him down, we're gonna need a Lord Of Order which is Nabu.
But Nabu needs a host and we all know what will happen if Nabu gets a hold on anyone foolish enough to put on the helmet. Conner replied.
Everyone fell silent.
