The semester drew to a close leaving you on a short break while Itachi made plans for the three of you so that Aiko wouldn't get bored and you spending your last day on campus before the holidays was making you antsy. Itachi had a lunch planned with the other lecturers leaving you to return home alone and he said he would pick Aiko up from daycare. So you arriving at the front door to see a suitcase was rather obsurd seeing as no one was home.
You unlocked the door slowly trying to make as little noise as possible, creeping past the library to the kitchen when a voice startled you.
"Didn't know he had a girlfriend?"
You turned quickly seeing easily one of the most beautiful men you've ever seen sitting on the counter with an apple. He had the same dark black eyes with wavy locks and an eye shape that made him look like he had eyeliner.
"I'm the babysitter." You said correcting him.
"Knowing him that makes much more sense."
"Uh- Who are you?"
"Oh my bad! Names Shisui Uchiha." He winked, "Itachi's favorite cousin."
"Why do I feel like that's your own self made title?" You said jokingly making him laugh. "But how did you get in?"
"I'm a police officer sweetheart locked doors are nothing for me." He chuckled, "Any idea when Itachi will be home?"
"Half an hour or so?" You answered checking your watch.
"My other two cousins Obito and Izumi will be here soon they wanted to get some groceries before they arrive."
"Oh okay let me make something quick in the meantime."
"Oh? And she cooks?" He smile throwing the apple core away as he hopped off the marble counter.
"Yeah, do you?"
"Of course, want a hand?"
"If you'd like."
The two of you got to cooking and you decided on a pasta dish with a sauce and some spiced mince with some delicious cheese, it seemed like the perfect 'Welcome' meal for Itachi's family. And when it was almost done you decided to make a chocolate mousse with some cream all sitting on a base of crumbled biscuits.
A smile graced your features as it all sat perfectly on the casserole. The door opened just in time revealing the man you and the guest were awaiting.
"Surprise!" The voice of the man who was just helping you shouted.
"Holy f- God!" Itachi caught himself quick while Aiko cheered excited to meet her uncle.
"Uncle Shisui!!!" She cheered running up to him hugging him as he bent down lifting her into the air as he danced with her in joy.
