Aiko Uchiha was born at a time that the tensions between the Uchiha's and Parliament was at an all time high and she was kept a secret because of the possibility of kidnappings and the possibility of a hostage situation seeing as she was just a child. Hanami and Kaito Uchiha were key members as far as negotiations went and were called out to meetings often, that is what happened the day they died. Travelling in a car with Madara's brother a targeted assassination brought a tragic end to their lives, leaving their daughter orphaned at 2 months.
Itachi Uchiha was a renowned Psychiatrist and a very charming gentleman. But behind that he was so much more. The man was responsible, caring and selfless among many other things and a decision was made. Aiko was already an Uchiha and since she didn't look too different from Itachi, the decision was made for him to take custody raising the child as he's own. He was 25 after all and he gladly took the initiative to father the orphaned girl. He believed it was better than her growing up without both parents, she would at least have one.
So the celebrations started and the secret of her birth was finally set free seeing as they couldn't hide it forever. Her safety was now protected because should she suffer any hurt the Uchiha's would launch a fully fledged investigation into the death of three of the clans members that would no doubt lead to some significant changes in the tiers of parliament.
Though at this present moment, five years after the death of Tobirama and three years after the death of Danzo there have definitely been some changes. The only living member of the Senju clan is Tsunade and she doesn't have any of the grudges possessed by her ancestry. Above that the Mayor is quite well known among the Uchiha's and respected for his good judgment and fairness. And Aiko still believes Itachi is her biological father and the only reason the public doesn't know is because it is only shared among the Uchiha's.

"So tell me..." You started off leaning closer to the table with a serious grin as you looked at both Sasuke and Naruto. "When did Sasunaru start?" Making both of their eyes pop.
