There WILL be typos, i don't usually go back and edit chapters. If you see a mistake. No you didn't.

I washed my hands before looking in the mirror making sure my uniform looked presentable still. Sometimes it gets dirt y when I'm requested to work in the kitchen... I had just finished washing dishes because Our dish washer was on his break and they needed an extra hand.

Things had slowed down a bit in my section so I didn't mind coming in the back to help. I grabbed my tablet and walk into the front room. I worked at a very lowkey but upscaled restaurant. I'm not sure how I ended up Here.

Well realistically i was wondering down the strip and came across this place... I was mesmerized and I guess the owner noticed me staring for too long through the floor to ceiling windows. he stepped outside and engaged in light conversation with me.

One of the first nice humans I had ever met since being tossed away in this realm. He asked if i walked the strip often and I told him that i was a long way from home and did not know my way around.

I'd visited the human realm before. I knew how things worked. But being dumped here with nothing was a major set back. I asked him if he had any positions opened and he asked me if i was good at anything.

I told him I was a talented cook and was studying to be a chef back home. He asked me if i had any experience in a top ranked kitchen of any kind. But i hadn't. He said it was a high paced environment and I would need to study a lot more before he could just put me in the position. Which made since. But he did allow me to become an waitress.

All I had was the clothes on my back and a small bag. All were of high quality compared to basic human attire and that was the only thing stopping me from getting weird stares as he walked me into his establishment and gave me a tour and run down of how things worked.

He said that a waitress would be the best fit because I had an unique look and I told him I'd be able to handle the guest. There wasn't much humans could say to bother me honestly. When setting up my pay I told him that I didn't have a set address yet and he didn't ask too many questions. Instead he opted in handing me my pay in cash every pay day. The end of my first shift I made about 500$ In tips. I knew tip culture was a human thing but not to this extent. I was assured by him that it was to be expected since his restaurant was a 3 Michelin star spot that catered to a lot of high value celebs and business people.  That night I was able to get a decent room at a hotel and something to eat.

I will always be grateful for Mr.Min. that's why I work my hardest everyday. In two days I'd have been working for him for 4 years.

Going to the podium I looked over the reservations and checked if any of them was assigned to my section. I found one out of the five where going to be in my section..

Ahhhh a regular... George.

George was a really nice man who came here at least once a week for a good meal. He worked hard and would tell me about how he he'd treat himself to a nice dinner on fridays after a hard day. Or if he was too drained he'd stop by on sunday nights to finish the week off right.

I liked George he wasn't weird or rude I've learned a lot from him over the years.

"Jinx"

I heard my last name being called

I looked up as Mr.Min walked in with one of his close friends. I smiled at him bowing slightly which I've learned is custom here.

Mr.Min: How are you this evening? Has everything run smoothly?

I nodded

Me: Yes sir. 5 more reservations on the list and we're expecting a few more walk ins before closing.

He nodded looking at his watch

Mr.Min: Okay there's about 3 and a half more hours left. Lets make them count

i nodded as he and his friend walked away.

Mr.Min has lots of friends. he's a very loved guy. Even if he looks really grumpy all the time. This friend in particular I've never spoken to. In all of my 4 years here he's never once seemed welcoming.

I have formed a habit of avoiding eye contact with him. He doesn't necessarily seem stuck up. But maybe he is a bit full of himself.

When he comes he books In the VIP section. I've never worked that section before. It isn't too big but it is on the upper level of the restaurant and usually 3 waiters are enough to work that whole floor since its so small.

It's split into three sections and has a lot of privacy. Mostly celebs and actresses eat up there. sometimes birthday dinners are held there as well. Mr. Min's friend.... Mr. Kim loves having a view while he eats so he always books in the same section of VIP. which happens to be Sarah's section.

she's very fond of Mr. Kim. the only one who doesn't notice it is Mr. Min himself. I'm sure if he did he'd rip her from that section in a second.

I huffed staring off into space before i noticed George walking thru the door. I smiled and waved at him before guiding him to his seat. He was in a good mood and started telling me about work as I tapped in his order into my tablet.
