IT WAS SILENT.

She stares towards the frosted chains wrapped around her hands with her eyes glassy and a sense of fear washing over her. The sounds of inaudible voices surrounded the young girl but she didn't pay attention since they were all whispering about her. How could she do this? She betrayed our planet. The last thing that Froststorm wanted to do was to disappoint her people. One day, the throne would be hers even though she would have to wait a few thousand years to take control. She's watched many criminals weave their way through the ice filled courtroom, walls made of frozen water with ancient cravings sliced in the icy substance. Her mother had looked at her, a blank face with tears slowly running down from her eyes. Kal'ia was catatonic with a sense of fear of what type of punishment Sonār would bring her. Her own daughter was being put on trial for things she could've committed, but no way could she have done all the things said. Froststorm's hands were chained in her lap, fingers running numb, not from the cold, but from how motionless she sat. Kuruk placed his hand on her shoulder making her flinch.

"Your highness, don't you think this is...brutal? This is your own sister —"

Shut up, Kuruk. Froststorm wanted to leap from her seat and shout. Her uncle Kuruk had been representing her in this trial even though he sucked at it. She wanted to take the punishment, which was death. It could end her suffering quickly but there were punishments worse than death.

Winterstorm was perched high. White hair tied into a top bun resting on her head with the smug look of annoyance covering her face. She had a pretty face but not so much a pretty heart. Unfortunately, she was the lead of the council, the ones that would decide Froststorm's punishment for treason. Winterstorm sighs, blowing a puff of hair away from her face. "Uncle, my dearest uncle." She stands from her seated position with the long fabrics draped on her shoulders, flowing behind her. She was dressed in silver armor which was decorated with colors of purple and blue with hints of green. Holding her spiked mace, Winterstorm glares at her younger sister. "Don't let bias stand in your way. She's your niece, your blood. But this amount of crimes committed must be addressed."

"Crimes?" Froststorm blurted. Kuruk turns to her, trying to usher her to be quiet. Froststorm stands with her chains dangling beside her legs. "The only one who has committed crimes here is you!"

Winterstorm's face turns evil, with her jumping down from her platform made of ice to stand in front of her sister. The crowd in the courtroom murmurs. Froststorm's eyes meet Winterstorm's. Green and glittery, filled with hatred and jealousy. "You dare talk back against your queen?!" She spits. "Sit down, now."

Winterstorm's eyes flash white, taking control of Froststorm's body and making her sit back in her chair. There was no doubt Winterstorm had more power than her, more control which made her one of most of powerful on the planet. She calls herself queen. The day of Winterstorm's coronation was a day that Froststorm dreaded — it was a time where many inhabitants of Korasnow would gather to praise the young princess take reign into queen. But Winterstorm had abused her power by fighting her way to the top to get what she wanted. She had completed the tests and all the challenges, now the one thing she was missing was the crown. "The council and I have decided. On the basis of treason and conspiracy I banish Ivōres Frost Jelmāzma to Earth."
