Chapter I : The Storm
Part : 1/?
_____________________________________________Elora is taking a stroll. Circling around the market looking for a portion of fish to feast with her siblings. Not long enough, she overheard a conversation with a maiden and a knight.
"Oh may the storm spare us!" The maiden cried. "Worry not citizen. We shall do our best into finding the source." The knight said.
Hearing this, She approached the worrying maiden, Elora queried the maiden about the storm.
" It already devoured our three neighboring cities! And now it is coming for us!" the maiden continued sobbing. Elora showed no fear towards this. Because of this, it made her even more curious.
Later at evening, she walked back home empty handed. On her way to the well to get a bucket of water, she finds a boar attacking a fellow fisherman. Elora rushes to the scene and observed the fisherman. The fisherman was holding a bucket of fish and the boar wants to eat them. Elora speeds towards the boar, pushing it aside and knocking it out. The fisherman could not thank her enough, he then took out two fishes from his bucket.
"Thank you for saving my life. I must hand you with these. Its not much but I hope you will gladly take them as a reward of protecting me." the fisherman said. Elora's pupils twinkled at the sight of the fish.
Elora went home with joy and each of her siblings were well fed.
The following day, Elora woke up to the sounds of lightning. She ran outside and felt strong winds pierce through the walls of the kingdom, the storm has arrived. Elora warned her siblings to run to the safety shelter. The horns blew and a swarm of golems ran to the gates, breaking the wizard's barrier. Elora again observed the situation from afar and sighted the golems looked identical. Each carried a stone carved onto their backs.
Elora found out that the golems were under command by a single ruler, a storm witch.
She raised her hands in front of the swarm and chanted the words. She recited for three times until the power was granted to Elora, causing it to electrify each golem, however Elora was left exhausted after lending her energy to make enough power.
The golems were sent flying away and died. Elora saved the kingdom and if it weren't for her, the kingdom would've been in ruins. But that did not stop the strong gusts of winds from sending houses and carts flying across the kingdom. Her spell could not last long enough to stop it. Moments later, Elora noticed that the storm was moving to the Eastern valley. She followed the storm to a snow mountain, she was mesmerized by the scenery and could not take her eyes off of it. She came across a village called Windhill. There, she found a few villagers chatting. Elora approached the chatting villagers and spoke to them."Greetings, I am Elora! I am here to find a walking storm. Have you seen one pass by?" The villager on the left replied, "Yes! If I remember it clearly, it ruined our farm and killed all our calf!" The villager then received a blank nod from her. Elora faced the 2nd villager to question about finding it, "I know nothing about storms. If you wish to find out, walk to the town's library and they might have what you are looking for." The villager on the right replied while crossing his arms.
Elora then walked to the town's library and asked the librarian a book about witches and spells.
"Witches and spells? Why do you want a spell book?" The librarian asked. "I'm going to beat a storm witch! But first, I just need to learn about storm witches and their weaknesses. I also need to learn a few spells that are effective to use against her." Elora said confidently. The librarian told her the directions and Elora carried on to her mission and spent next hour skimming through the books about storm witches.
