Sophie's POV

"Keefe!" Sophie cried out, as she was cleaning the floor of hew home, Moonridge, when she saw toys piled all over the living room. "Sorry that I couldn't clean after Kenric, babe," Keefe replied, as he emerged from another room in their house, carrying their 2 year old son, Kenric. Keefe put Kenric in Sophie's hands, as he went to pick up all of the elvin toys that Kenric had been playing with. Keefe put the toys in a plastic bin with the other ones. Kenric had dirty blond hair with a hint of more brown in it, and he had his father's ice blue eyes. Kenric had his mother's smile and cheeks though. Baby Kenric giggled and clapped his hands as his eyes followed something on the floor, and it turns out the thing on the floor was Iggy! "IGGY!" Sophie said as she gave Kenric back to Keefe, and scooped up the tiny imp instead. She put her face close to Iggy's, and he released a stinky burp. Sophie coughed, and then put the imp back in his cage. "How did he even escape anyways?" Keefe asked Sophie, as she shrugged. Sophie had convinced Edaline to let Iggy move in with Sophie and her family, instead of Iggy staying in Havenfield.

Kenric cried, meaning he wanted to go to sleep. Keefe told Sophie that he was going to put his son to bed. After Kenric was sleeping soundly, Keefe wrapped his arms around Sophie. "I remember the times when we were young," Keefe told Sophie. "Same," Sophie said to Keefe. Keefe gave Sophie a kiss, and she kissed him back. Sophie then pulled back, and looked around her house. The house was modern-like, but the Vacker's house was more modern. Pictures of Keefe, Sophie and Kenric were on almost every single table. Sophie had decided to put a plant on the kitchen table after they built this house. Keefe gave Sophie a glass of fizzleberry wine, and told her to sit down in one of the kitchen chairs. "So," Keefe started, "how's your job as an Emissary?" "It's good," Sophie said back, "but recently, we didn't have any new assignments, except something that is classified." "Okay," Keefe said slowly.

"Grady and Edaline called me, and asked me if we wanted to spend Christmas at Havenfield." Ever since Christmas became an official holiday in the Lost Cities, everyone had been going crazy and shopping in Atlantis for Christmas decor and Christmas things. "Sure, we can stay at Havenfield, but we might need to bring Kenric's crib," Keefe said to Sophie. " I just needed my husband's approval," Sophie told Keefe. "We will never stay at Candleshade or the Shores of Solace for Christmas ever, right?" Keefe asked Sophie. "Yes, we will never go to any of those places," Sophie replied back to Keefe, answering his question. "Okay, good," Keefe said, and he sighed. When it was time for the couple to go to bed, Sophie had to ask Keefe a question. "Keefe?" Sophie whispered, her eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling. "Yes?" Keefe said back to Sophie. "Do you love me?" "Of course I love you, Foster. You're the love of my life, and that's why I married you." "I love you very much as well, Keefe." "Well, goodnight."
