CHAPTER TEN: The Truth Everyone Has Been Waiting For

My dream continued...

(We ended up on Earth, with mom and dad still alive and well for our second life. Well, and then mom died, but you know what I mean, right? Now that you know everything! Well, you KIND OF know everything...)

Emily appeared in a tiny, dimly lit room. It had stone, gray walls and looked too much like a cave. Emily squeezed her eyes shut to think of a possible solution, and then opened her eyes wide. She scanned every inch of the room and was so deep into her thoughts, she didn't notice the cracks starting to form on the ceiling. A bright light appeared, and Emily instantly shut her eyes closed. A big "CLUNK" sound was emitted from above Emily. The light finally started to fade away and Emily opened her eyes, just to see the roof of the room cracking. A part of the roof already fell off, and the cracks on the roof kept getting bigger and bigger. Emily smiled. She must have found a solution! Emily's eyes skirted the cave and saw a little bump on the side of the cave. She ran over there, just on time before the cave collapsed. With a loud rumble, the ceiling collapsed and left a big mountain of rock. Carefully climbing the debris, Emily reached the top of the cave. Emily sat down and thought sank into deep thought, but then right when her body touched the rock, she stood right back up. She rubbed her bottom where the sharp rock had touched her and started thinking extremely hard. She got super close to the edge and jumped. Emily clutched her arm, that had a tiny scrape, and her face scrunched up like her arm was actually bruised all over the place. Emily stood up and realization dawned her face, she was in the land of the giants.

I jerked up in the seat I was in and ran outside. Emily. Emily. Emily. I thought.

"Where is she?" I cried out in frustration.

"Rose, oh Rose. You poor little girl. Your twin is in the giant's world." replied Patricia from right beside me.

A bell rang. The giant's world! That's where I need to give Emily her necklace! I can't wait to get to her and show her the pearls and give her the blessed necklace's duplicate. Ohh, I can't wait to get back to my twin!

"Ugh. You and our necklaces, sneaking up on me. Can you please send me to the giant's world so I can see Emily?" I asked, trying to get to Emily as quickly as I could.

"Of course! Anything to get rid of the Potter twins. Don't worry, though. Time will stop here when you are in the giant's world. Have fun with Emily." cackled Patricia as I was suddenly pulled into a sparkly portal. Sigh. Patricia and her sparkles. She never grew up did she?

As I recall, she still sleeps with a stuffed sparkly, rainbow unicorn named Rainbow Sparkles. How do I know you ask? Well, we had a little family reunion at our birthday party. And... guess what? Yup! I overheard Patricia and Seth (apparently they're dating) talking. Patricia revealed her most embarrassing secrets. That day, I found out that she always wore the magic necklaces, but used the magic to make it look like she wasn't wearing any necklaces. ILLUSIONS!!!

Wait. Ohh, so NOW I remember that. CRUCIAL INFORMATION LOST, THEN REMEMBERED PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! Now I need to get to Emily and tell her.

I just hope I remember all of that information. Now I know where our necklaces are. Getting the necklaces back is going to be a lot easier!

But, wait. Em would be heartbroken to know that Patricia and Seth are dating. She would be furious to know that her "perfect" life was stolen from her by the only and only evil Patty. So that's the reason why Seth broke up with Chloe!

Everything's coming together and the pieces of the puzzle are now being fitted together! It's suddenly so clear! Confused? HA! I knew it. Here is the TRUE story behind the Seth and Chloe breakup:

Seth used to be a very ugly boy. All disfigured and such. One day, Seth and Patricia met in a trampoline park. They were both invited to Chloe's birthday party. Chloe invited the whole 4th grade to her birthday party. In a matter of minutes, the "beautiful" Chloe had a mountain of gifts. That day, Rose (me) and Emily didn't go to the party because they were on a trip to Disney World. Seth had a gigantic crush on Chloe and was helplessly in love. Patricia needed someone that could become the Potter twins' crush. Now, Patricia was getting the special socks when she met Seth. Seth was stuttering like crazy at the sock place and was lisp. Patricia couldn't take it anymore and made Seth not lisp and Seth no longer stuttered! Seth was given his socks fast and Patricia could finally get her socks. Seth and Patricia were sitting next to each other when they were getting their socks on. Patricia revealed the necklaces' magic to Seth, and they made a deal. Patricia would make Seth look "cute" and would make Seth popular in return that Seth does whatever Patricia wants. Before you could say, "Bibbity Bobbity Boo!" Seth became a millionaire and the most popular boy in the whole elementary school. Chloe was mad that Seth stole all the attention from her, but she soon had a crush on Seth. Seth got his wish and became Chloe's boyfriend. They spent the rest of the party time talking to each other. Soon enough, Emily developed a crush on Seth, but Rose hated Seth. Rose hated Seth for putting a spell on Emily, and Patricia's plan backfired. BUT! Emily was a lovestruck girl, and Patricia could still work with that. After a few years, Seth broke up with Chloe. Partially because Chloe was mean and bossy, and partially because Patricia ordered Seth to become her boyfriend. Seth was given orders to spy on Emily and to take her out of the necklace game.
