"Done," Brooklyn smiled as she finished doing my makeup.

Finally, after hours of this torture, I was ready for my date. I stood up and limped to the bathroom to look at myself.

"Wow," I breathed.

I was gorgeous. I was wearing a knee-length, off the shoulder, light purple dress with a pair of plain gold flats. My red hair was in a braided crown, and the rest was curled. Brooklyn had found a way to do my makeup simple and natural without covering up my freckles. My nails were painted in the same shade as my dress with glitter on the ring fingers. I was wearing diamond stud earrings and my M locket, which I never took off.

I opened the locket and smiled softly at the pictures that it held. The first one was a family portrait of Mom, Dad, Ben, Emma, Rachael, and I. The second one was a recent picture that I had taken with Ben, Sky, Josh, and Brook. I shut it and took a deep breath.

I went over to the room that Ben and Sky shared and knocked. Unsurprisingly, it was Josh who opened the door.

"Madi! You look great!" He exclaimed.

I smiled and giggled. "Thanks."

"Is that my baby sister?" Ben asked, coming to the doorway.

"Yes," I smiled. "And, I'm not a baby anymore, Benny."

Ben chuckled sadly. "I know."

Then, Sky came over by the other two boys.

"How many people are you hiding in there?" I joked.

"It's just us," Sky responded. "And, you look... Fantastic!"

"Thanks!" I giggled, giving a little twirl. "I have to go now, I'm really sorry."

"You're fine," Ben smiled.

"Have fun!" Josh said.

"Be back by 10:30!" Sky teased as I walked away.

I really do have the best friends in the entire world. I rode the elevator down to the main lobby, unable to go down the stairs with my crutches. Theo was waiting for me when I got there. He handed me a rose and smiled when I reached him.

"Shall we?" He asked.

"We shall," I responded, following him out into the busy streets of New York.

After a bit of walking, I asked, "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see," He smiled.

He called a cab, and we got in and started riding. We asked each other little questions to get to know each other. Theo played basketball, football, and lacrosse, captaining each of the respective teams at my old high school.

After a while, the cab stopped. Theodore paid the cabby and guided me onto the pier next to the Brooklyn Bridge.

"Brooklyn? Really?" I asked. "Does this have anything to do with my show?"

"I did a little research," Theo confessed.

"Well, I love it," I smiled.

We had a nice picnic before we rode a cab back to my hotel. We stopped right outside the door to the boy's room.

"I had a really nice time tonight," I smiled.

"So did I," Theo responded.

He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. When he pulled away, we were both smiling softly.

"Madison Amelia Cook, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I will," I responded.

He kissed me again. This one was a bit longer than the first.

"See you later," He smiled, walking away.

"Bye!" I called.

I knocked on the door, and Ben opened it.

"Someone's happy," He teased.

"Good job, you figured it out!" I replied sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes before asking, "What are you doing here?"

"What? Can't a girl visit her favorite brother and her best friend?" I asked.

"Aww, I'm your best friend?" I heard Josh ask from inside.

"No, it's Sky," I told him. "What are you even doing here? Don't you room with Chaz?"

"Yeah, but I like it better here," He called back.

"I'll make sure to tell Chazzle you said that!" I told him.

"NO DON'T!" Josh yelled, running out of the room.

I chuckled. "Night, Sky! Night, Benny."

"Good night, M," Ben smiled.

I went back to my room and told Brooklyn about everything that had happened with Theo before falling asleep almost as soon as I laid down.
