The next morning
Madi's POV
I woke up quite early this morning and decided to get Starbucks.
"How could he just leave me like that?" I thought aloud. "I really thought we had something special!"
I hailed a cab (they were in Chicago) and climbed in, yelling the driver my destination. We rode together in silence for a bit when I saw a bight light and heard a screech of brakes. Something large hit the cab, right where I was sitting, causing it to roll over and land upside down.
"Oh my gosh! Call an ambulance!" Were the last words I heard before everything went black.
