I hear footsteps coming towards the door so I try to quietly run back into the room. Still wrapped in my towel, I walk back into the bathroom and hear some footsteps coming into the room.
I walk out, acting like it was my first time, I smile at him & he has a nervous look on his face. He smiles at me softly, "uh.. I need to talk to you about something important but I'll wait til your finished." He says, taking a seat on the bed smiling.
I nod my head and finish getting ready. I put on my shea butter & oil to have my brown skin shine. I spray some perfume on me, which happens to be his favorite from 6 years ago. I put on my outfit and some jewelry to decorate.

"Talk to me while i do my hair." I tell him. He follows me, "you smell good." He tells me after he kisses my cheek. His lips lingering there for a few moments.
"Thank you.." I smile cheekily. I take my silk bonnet off and watch my hair fall out. "So this morning before you woke up... Ari called me her dad, by accident.. then she ran out crying." He says, sadness spread across his face. I comb out my hair.
So that's why she wasn't there when I woke up.
She probably thought that it would make him mad. The last time I had a boyfriend & I introduced him to arianna, they got comfortable and ari accidentally called him dad. He got all pissed off & started yelling at me. Which I was obviously not gonna have. Long story short, that man was taken care of.
I nod my head signaling for him to continue, "so after you woke up and went to take your shower I went to the room she was in. She thought I was mad at her and i told her that I wasn't. Then I asked her if she wanted me to be her dad..." he said trailing.

"Do you want to?" I ask, turning around to look him in the eyes. I see joy and also curiosity in them. He nods, a smile small stretching onto his face, "I do.... And she does also but i said only if you would agree and it would be ok with you."
I look at him, playing with his rings because of nerves and smile widely at him. "Of course it's ok with me, gio." He. Smiles widely bringing me into a big bear hug. "Yay!" Ari comes into the bathroom jumping up and down.

He smiles and picks her up, kissing all over her chubby face while she giggles in his arms. I smile at them and feel tears of happiness weld in my eyes ready to fall. I feel one roll down my face and he immediately wipes it off then brings me into a kiss.
I hear Ari groan, "ew!" I pull away and laugh, "both of y'all get out.. I need to finish my hair." Then both head out, not before gio smacks my butt and I hear him whisper 'damn'.
