Epilogue

3 years later

"Daddy... Luca bit me." Arianna comes crying to me. She shows me her hand and I see teeth marks. "Oh my baby girl. Are you okay?" I ask her, she nods her head.

I look over to my 2 year old son and motion for him to come. His little self waddles over to me and reaches up indicating that he wants me to pick him up. "Why did you bite your sister, Luca?" I ask in a stern voice, yet pick him up.

He looks at me with puppy eyes and I see his lip quiver knowing he's about to cry. "Sowwy, awianna." Then he cries not too loud but loud enough to make my wife come running.

He looks to his mom and reaches out to him. "Aw baby what happened?" She cuddles him. "He bit me!" Arianna points to him and her lip quivers. "Luca." Imani states. "I told you about doing that to her. Don't do it again." She says, sternly making Luca nod his head.

"And you." She looks at Ari. "ME?" She yells. "Yes you, are you okay baby?" She asks her. Arianna nods. I look at Luca seeing him falling asleep on Imani's shoulder. "What time is it?" I ask her. She pulls her phone out and shows me that it is 10:36 pm.

Damn.

"Yea, okay. Time for bed." I say. We all walk upstairs. I put Arianna in her room. "Goodnight, ari." I tell her kissing her on her forehead. "Night daddy." She says. "Wait-" she exclaims. We stop in our tracks. I raise my eyebrow up in a questioning way. "I want to sleep with you guys tonight." She gets out of bed and follows us.

Arianna is now 6 and she looks a lot like her mom. The kid version of course. Act just like her to with all that damn attitude.

We walk out closing the door and walk over to Luca room. We moved to a new and bigger house, so each kid has their own room. I watch as my wife puts my son in his tiny bed.

I turn off his room light as all 3 of us make it to Imani and I room. I close the door and put a sleeping ari in the bed. A few minutes passes by & light bangs are heard on the door. "Mama! It's me, Luca! Let me in pleasee!" He screams. Im pretty sure out neighbor even heard him. "I guess he's sleeping with us tonight." I say. "Again." She adds on laughing.

I groan as I get up to open the door. Luca also falls meaning he was leaning on the door. "Owwuh." He groans. I pick him up, "you okay papa?" I consoled him, while walking towards the bed. He nods his head. I turn off the lamp light and lay down. With Arianna in between and Luca slowly falling asleep, i kiss imani goodnight.

"Goodnight babies." Imani whispered. "Night mommy." Arianna whispered back. "Goodnight mommy!" Luca basically yells. "Okay okay." I cover his mouth.

I wake up and see Luca staring right at me with his pacifier in his mouth. His eyes light up as soon as i look at him. He starts giggling and patting my chest. I pick him up and kiss him on the cheek. By the crust in his little eye, I can tell he woke up not-so-long before me.

"Let's go take a shower? hm.. then we'll go find mommy and ari." I get out of bed and make sure to make it up while holding a small Luca in my hand. After, I'm done, me and Luca go to shower.

After 20 minutes, i dry both me and Luca off. We start to brush our teeth and yet again I had to remind Luca to not swallow the toothpaste.

I go into Luca's room and start to dress him up leaving him to play with his toys, leaving his bedroom door open. I go back to my room to get ready.

I put lotion on, and start to put on my clothes. I have a dark blue shirt that hugs my muscles and is short sleeve so it displays my tattoo sleeve. I pair it with a matching dark blue sweat pants then just put on some black crocs. I go into the bathroom and start to fix my curly hair putting it in a low man bun then take my vitamins. I put on a sliver chain and sliver rings also with my wedding ring.

Walking out my room, I walk into Luca's and take him downstairs with me. By the smell in the air I can tell that my wife is cooking breakfast. I see her standing infront of the stove with her back turned to me.

I walk over to ari sitting on the couch watching a movie while eating fruit. I put Luca next to her and he immediately goes for the fruit while Arianna was trying to give him a hug. I kiss her forehead, "morning, pretty girl." I tell her. "Morning daddy!"

I walk over to my wife who still hasn't turned around and wrap my arms around her waist, pushing my head comfortably in her neck. She smells like cocoa butter and vanilla. "Morning, mama." She smiles, "Good morning, baby." She gives me a light kiss.

"Your bowl is over there." She points to the counter behind me. I pick it up and start to eat while letting my eyes shamelessly roam over her.

"Like what you see, hm?" She asks picking her bowl of fruit up and eating it. "You know I do." I reply. I watch as she lets her brown eyes shamelessly roam over my body. Stoping at a specific part. "Stop it. There's kids around." I smirk. Her eyes flicker to mines, "yeah whatever." She laughs.

She puts her bowl down and takes few steps over to me, wrapping her arms around my waist. I out my bowl down and look down at her while she looks up at me with her big eyes. "I love you." I tell her. "I love you more."

"Trust me when i say that not possible." I kiss her forehead then make my way down to her soft lips. "Eww." Both kids groan making us laugh at their disgust.

"Get a room." Arianna says, rolling her eyes. "GIRL!" Imani begins to full on laugh. "There ain't no way she just said that." She says wiping the tears in her eyes. I just sit back and admire her.

Admiring her the same way I've been doing since I was 17.

well, loves that's the end :(

yk, I started this book out as a joke believe it or not with my two friends 😭. And because if this book we have become closer. I never really expected this to become so popular or got to know so many people because of this book.
