Keiji Akaashi: hey dad, yeah I made it ok. Just moving the boxes in. Don't know the neighbors too well, but hopefully I will.

To Keiji Akaashi: glad you like it. Keep me updated. If you need help unpacking, your mother and I are happy to help.

Keiji Akaashi: ...

Daichi looked at his texts anxiously. His knee bounced up and down rapidly as he leaned over his phone. He sat on the couch that was placed in front of the window that looked out on the city. His tie was very loose around his neck. The holsters he wore to work were thrown over the arm of the couch. He always left the guns that went with it at his desk at work. He didn't feel the need to have them when he was off duty.

The dots on his phone screen went away. He sighed and put his phone down. The door lock clicked and the door opened gently.

Daichi leaned back, his eyes almost being able to see the door behind him as it shut.

"Hey," a voice nearly whispered, Daichi's eyes followed the person coming closer to him. The person stopped with their face hovering right above Daichi's.

"Hey," he whispered back, before a pair of lips met his in a gentle kiss.

They made their way to the other side of the couch, sitting next to the police chief and leaning their head against his chest.

"How was your day?" They asked softly. Daichi inhaled sharply.

"Tough. Nothing I can share with you right now. Too dangerous," he ran his fingers through the other's hair.

"Why don't we go to bed then?" They suggested, ready to give in to the peace of the night. Daichi nodded. The other got up, taking Daichi's hand and leading him to the bedroom. Daichi wrapped his arm around his partner's waist, bringing them in for another kiss. They both smirked.

"I love you Daichi Sawamura," they threw their arms around his neck. He chuckled.

"I love you too,

Sugawara Koushi,"
