Deep within the dank tunnels of Magnolia's prison, a funky looking man lay on the floor. He was snoring soundly, and peacefully... within a prison cell. "Man.... it's been over four days already..." Natsu complained as he sat outside of this particular cell.
"It's not like we can quicken the process by complaining... he has taken a lot of damage when battling Jose," Erza said. "I wonder how a guy like him can sleep for four days straight..." Lucy questioned. "Man... those were some heavy wounds, too," Gray said.
"But Natsu is right, he sleeps too much..." Happy said. "To think that I'd meet such a great man! We have much to discuss!" Said the bulky man from before. "Now, now. We should give him some space when he wakes up," said the albino haired lady. "O-Of course, Nee-chan!" The man said quickly.
Suddenly, they heard a spike in the middle of his snoring. The man in the cell had awakened. He sat up, still half asleep and confused. He yawned, stretching out from the stiffness of his body. "...Man... where the heck am I?..." the man, Axel, muttered, rubbing an eye.
He then rubbed the other, before the realization got to him. "Ah, crap..." he muttered. "Axel!" Natsu shouted, running up to the bars with a grin. "N-Natsu?! What are you doing here?" Axel asked. The rest of the Fairy Tail guild members that were present walked closer to his cell.
"What else? We're gonna break you out!-" Natsu was suddenly hit in the head by Erza. He lay on the ground, a bump forming on his head. "No, we aren't here for that," Erza said. Axel laughed, "Yeah, and if you were, I'd call you crazy. Because I wouldn't move from this cell," Axel told them.
"In any case, we're here to talk with you," Erza told him. "Eh? Oh! It's about that, right? Or is it about... this?" Axel asked as he gestured around him. Erza nodded, "Yes... well, all of those things," Erza told him. "Hey, little man! What you did back there, it was so manly!" The large, bulky man told him.
"Elfman, what did I tell you?" The lady sighed. "Oh! I'm sorry, Nee-chan..." the man, Elfman, said, "I'm really sorry, I know you just woke up..." Axel only laughed softly, "That's okay, I'm fully awake now," Axel told him with a grin. "Elfman, Mirajane, if you don't mind, could you inform the Master of Axel's awakening?" Erza told them.
"Of course, I'll be a moment," the lady, Mirajane said, "Let's go Elfman." -"Y-Yeah, Nee-chan..." Elfman said to her before turning back to Axel, "Hey, if it's alright with you, I'd like to get to know you better. That is if things go well." -"Elfman!" Mirajane exclaimed, "Don't say it like that, you'll scare him!"
"Oh! I'm so sorry Nee-chan!" Elfman shouted as he soon followed her. "What does she mean by that?" Axel asked the five others. Erza looked down as Lucy fiddled with her fingers. Gray turned away, and Natsu began to whistle. Axel stared at them in silence. "They're gonna execute me, aren't they?" Axel asked.
"Like hell we'd let that happen!" Natsu shouted. "No, no, no! It's not like that!" Lucy told him. "At least... we hope it isn't..." Gray muttered. "You'll go to trial. If you do well, the council may let you go," Erza said. "Yeah... I know how this stuff works. Though, I'm not so sure if it's different from what I'm used to..." Axel told her.
