Chapter 26 - First Time Occasions! Marathon of Dread!

"Whew!... it's kinda chilly..." Axel uttered, rubbing his hands together. Team Natsu had gone and taken up a job request and were now hiking on a snowy mountain, known as Mount. Hakobe. Of course, mere seconds after arriving, Lucy had summoned Horologium to take shelter from the cold. "-"Brr, I came here underdressed again... So cold..." is what she says," Horologium told them.

"I-It's so cold..." Wendy shivered. "What? This is nothing. What weaklings!" Carla said. "They can't help it. They don't have a fur coat like you do, Furball," Axel told her. "What did you call me?!" Carla exclaimed, pawing at Axel's head. "-"Come inside, Wendy. You're gonna catch a cold..." is what she says," Horologium told them.

"Here. Take my jacket with you," Axel said, handing Wendy his jacket. "Are you sure? You said it was chilly..." Wendy said. "Yeah... I can tolerate it for a bit. Warm up quickly for a bit," Axel told her. "Y-Yeah! Th-Thank you!..." Wendy said, gently taking the jacket, "How about you, Carla?"

"I'm perfectly fine. Cold weather is nothing with the proper mindset," Carla said. "In other words, she's too proud to say she's cold..." Axel said. "You!..." Carla growled. "The skies have quieted down," Erza noted. "I'm starving... Is there any fire around here?" Natsu asked.

Wendy was now in Horologium, as Lucy snuggled close. "-"It's so warm!" Wendy says. "I-I wanna go home..." Lucy says," Horologium told them. "Damn. It's hard to walk in all this," Gray uttered. "Put on some clothes first," Erza said. "Wha?!..." Gray exclaimed, making Axel laugh as he fed Natsu a fireball.

"Hey Natsu! Do such handy herbs really exist?" Happy asked. "Beats me. It's what the job flier said, so I guess so," Natsu said. "Drinking tea brewed from it or eating cake made of it is supposed to temporarily power up a wizard's magic, but it sounds pretty iffy if you ask me," Happy said, "It's like they say: "There's always poison to every good fish.""

"-"There's always a catch to every good thing.", Happy. That's how it really goes..." Axel told him. "Whoa! Axel poked fun at me!" Happy exclaimed in shock. "... No I didn't... I just corrected your statement..." Axel said. "Regardless of their effects, the job is to collect the herbs on this mountain," Erza said.

"If we find a lot, we can use some as bingo prizes tomorrow, too," Erza told them, "They'll love that." Natsu then took a deep breath, "Hey, herbs! Say something if you're there!" He shouted. "You didn't just ask a plant that question, did you?" Axel asked. "Yeah! What about it?!" Natsu asked.

"That was kinda dumb, Natsu..." Axel muttered with a chuckle. "Say what?!" Natsu asked. "I told you already! That was kinda dumb, Natsu!" Axel said with a grin, "I find it funny when you say the most random, dumb things! It's refreshing!" He said honestly. Though, this angered Natsu more than anything.

"Are you trying to start something?!" Natsu asked. "Hey. If anyone's gonna get angry, it should be me! Just last week, you broke three of the T.V.s again! And as if it weren't enough, you also broke all the remotes!" Axel told him with a pout, making Natsu back off. "It's not my fault they're so poorly made!" Natsu exclaimed. "What did you say?!" Axel asked, a tick mark on his forehead.

"Enough!" Erza broke the fight, scaring Natsu. "Aye!" Natsu exclaimed. "S-Sorry, Erza!... I didn't realize it escalated so quickly... My bad, Natsu! Didn't mean to make you so angry!" Axel apologized honestly. "-"Natsu and Axel have been having shouting matches recently..." Lucy says. "Yes. They're like siblings!" Wendy says," Horologium told them.

"Have we?" Axel asked. "You two've practically become the new Natsu and Gray formula: Getting mad at each other for the smallest things," Erza told them. "Is that a bad thing?" Axel asked. "Eh... kinda. I get a bit jealous, I'll admit... but it's honestly a welcome thing, really," Gray told him.
