In the name of love [Xiao x Aether]

When Liyue is fully awake, the sun was out and everybody was doing something Aether and Xiao were still asleep. Last night they had gone to Xiao his room and just sat on the bed talking. The blonde had fallen asleep onto Xiao who did not really want to move back then so now Xiao is resting his back against the headboard having a arm around Aether, his own head is resting ontop of the others as he himself is asleep aswell. Xiao was the last one to fall asleep yet the first one to wake up and for once he does not have night terrors or nightmares which is pleasant he did not habe them for once. Perhaps he did not have them since Aether is with him? He himself has forgotten that he and Aether fell asleep onto eachother so he is surprised to see the other laying against him with his head resting onto his shoulder. Xiao admires the other as the sunlight truely made the traveler his hair look more gold then accually blonde. Beautiful is the best word to describe what Xiao thinks of Aether right now as he simply cannot stop looking at him.

The adepti does look at Aether his calf seeing the wound almost has been healed. It always surprises him how Aether...a mortal...a human is able to heal so quickly.  Maybe he was not fully human but Xiao is not the one to judge that or find out. It did not take long for Aether to wake up as he stetches out letting out soft yet adorable sounds when doing so. Xiao hears those sounds right into his ear as his eyes go a little wide...did he like...those sounds? Like how close Aether was to his neck and ear?

The blonde feels much better now as he is sure after yesterday he can walk properly now or...atleast travel. Raising his head from Xiao his shoulder Aether would open his eyes slowly only for his eyes to land onto the man sitting besides him. He blushes because he felt embarrassed that he fell asleep onto the other...his friend. "I am sorry Xiao i did not mean to ...fall asleep on you"

The adepti just looks at the other seeing that blush again..why is Aether blushing so much around him all of a sudden? He did not understand. "Mhh. Don't be. " the man spoke standing up as he stretches out aswell since they did sleep in the not most comfortable position. "Are you able to walk now on your own?"

Hearing that question made Aether wish he couldn't.  He liked Xiao his company, him taking care of him yet he knows that would not last forever so he just stands up to see if he can walk and he can. Still it was a little iffy but he can do it on his own which is important "i suppose so yes."

"Good. Before i leave is there anything else..."

"Leave?"

"Yes. There is no purpose for me here if you are fully healed up. You will go back to you're travels and i will go back to...whatever i am doing ..." Xiao spoke.

Aether looks down for a moment thinking of what to say before he looks back up at Xiao "what if i don't want to travel anymore?"

Xiao bursted out laughing of what he just heard. Aether not traveling? He simply cannot see Aether relaxing. Once Xiao has started to calm down from laughter he looks at Aether who's expression was serious which made him go serious aswell "what makes you say that? You want to find you're sister dont you?"

"Yes but...so far everywhere i have gone i dont get a awnser...if i continue and still have no awnser then what? I wasted all my time. What if she is gone? I could have spend that time with my friends. With you" Aether spoke walking over to Xiao "i will continue to travel to look for awnsers but if i know i will never find my sister. Never see her again or that she has changed for the worse...will you be waiting for me here? At Wangshu Inn?"

Xiao cannot believe what he is hearing. Aether giving up? Impossible. But what he said of that he would want to return to Xiao made him smile just a little and give the other a nod. "You just have to call my name and i will be there..."
