What was this feeling? Warm water dripping onto his face before something heavy and wet touched his forehead. Aether would open his eyes having awakened from his slumber as he looks up at Xiao who silently was taking care of Aether and his fever having placed a nice, warm wet cloth on his forehead. Xiao had turned away when Aether had woken up leaving the room as he soon returns with some food and tea that the other could eat and drink when he would wake up. Aether had sat up in bed the meantime as he looks at Xiao enter the room who looks at him surprised "you are awake?" Xiao spoke carrying the tray to the bed and sets it down onto Aether his lap.

"What is all of this? Why are you spoiling me?" The blonde asks seeming confused as he does not know yet he has fever.

Xiao just sits on the edge of the bed putting pillows behind Aether his back before he pushes him into them so he can relax against the pillows "you are sick. After we-..." Xiao fell silent for a moment getting a blush on his face "Baizhu told me to take care of you. You have been asleep for a full day "the Adepti spoke and takes some of the food on a fork and holds it out for Aether.

The traveler listens to the other as his eyes go wide and he looks at him with a shocked expression on his face "i slept for a full day?"

"That is what i said..."

Aether silently takes the food from the fork in his mouth before chewing it and swallowing it. "A fever is fine i can handle it" Aether spoke but wanting to stand up he can feel his legs remain in the same spot, not moving as he feels very sensitive at his behind and lower back.

Xiao watches how the other tried to stands up but he did not do anything about it since he knows Aether would find out soon enough why he has to remain in bed "Baizhu also told me you cannot walk until the pain is gone. " he spoke and takes more food on the spoon as he would be feeding Aether his food...was he spoiling him too much? He looks at Aether his hickey he has in his neck and he could not help but scoff before a smile forms onto his face.

The blonde was curious to why Xiao did that so he gives him a puzzled look "what is it?"

Xiao looks back at the traveler with a smile on his face as he moves to touch the hickey with his thumb "it looks like a flower has blossomed right onto your skin...like it is a tattoo only it is not permanent " he whispers seeming very focused when looking at the hickey. " It would suit you..."

Aether blushes when the other spoke as he shyly looks away trying to avoid the other his gaze "would a tattoo suit me?"

"No it would not...i meant me making these flowers all over your body...you would be beautiful covered with them. Marked by me." He smiles at the before he stands up and takes the mask. "I will return home soon...i promise you" he spoke. Hesitating, not really knowing what he is doing he places a kiss on Aether his head before he dissapears.

Aether gives Xiao a nod closing his eyes at the kiss on his head smiling very softly "be carefull okay? I will see you soon" he spoke but seeing the look in Xiao his eyes he can see the other being somewhat upset? Was he upset he had to leave his side for a short while? Perhaps?

Xiao would cup Aether his face and place a quick peck onto his lips "do not go anywhere...do not move or get out of bed just stay put" that is all the adepti said before he left as it sounded more so like a order then anything else really.

Aether lets out a huff already feeling rather bored but he had to stay in bed. What can he do? He had no book? He had nothing to amuse himself so he called for Paimon who appears in a instand "Paimon can you maybe find something for me to read or...do something while i remain in bed?"

Paimon tilts her head wondering why he has to lay in bed so she places her hands on her hips "Paimon has a feeling you are being very lazy right now!"
